Right. I used the one in the game and it worked, there is family in the game. FYI
It works just fine, the game looks for this file. You can actually edit some defaults, too, since the sources are also in the package. Which I did, and I simply loved the game. I hope, we can get up the last stage some day, the story is too nice.

I liked the scene, but since you asked, here's what I would suggest.

You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

That's just an idea, and it would require some cutting and pasting to make sure you keep the plotline consistent.
I also didn't care for the drugged date rape scenario as it played out. It wasn't even left ambiguous. After she took the antidote, she made it very clear she did not consent to it. She lamented being defiled and deflowered by Veil. Even after Olera restored her physical virginity, she still felt defiled and angry about it. Even worse, the "punishment" Veil received was more of a reward for her, as she clearly enjoyed every moment of it.

Overall, I want dev to write their own story, so I accepted the scene as their vision, but even dev said they'd like to rewrite it, so removing the drug would be a huge improvement in my opinion. I wouldn't even mind Veil deflowering Elyn, if the drug wasn't involved. Veil's mind reading ability could just reveal MC's deepest desires about selfcest, and Veil could use her power to convince Elyn to actually consent. Just seems like the drug was a lazy shortcut that could have been avoided by just focusing on Veil's power.

It certainly doesn't help that the scene, as it is now, introduced several tags that didn't get properly added. Drugs, rape, and mind control should all be included in the tags with that scene.

Drug, mind control, what is the difference?

The point of tags is to let players know what content the game contains. This game contains drugs(in the form of potions), and it also contains mind control content. Since most players avoid games with content they don't like, it's important to include tags for everything the game contains. Some players don't want to play games with mind control content, but are okay with (non-mind-controlling)drugs, or vice versa.

Basically, it's not about the difference between the tags, it's about including every applicable tag. Even if tags have some overlap, it's important to tag the game with everything it contains, so that players aren't surprised with content they may not want to see.

So I'm wondering, what's the difference? Why do they agree with one, but disagree with the other, if the effect is the same in both? What the players are complaining about here is that MC was made to think she wanted to be fucked when she really didn't, not the way it was put into her mind.

"Drugs" are not only affecting the mind.
Most of them do, but not all.
For instance if the female MC imbibes a drink that causes her to grow a dick it clearly is a drug.
Basically it is a drug if some substance out of body is introduced into the body by drinking or breathing for instance that alters body and/or mind of the imbiber.

"Mind Control" only affects the mind and not physicality.
The enemy can't make the female MC think that she has a dick and suddenly in reality she truly has.

In this specific case Veil uses some kind of drug to basically stun the MC and afterwards she uses mind control to "do it".
Two separate instances.

In short there are drugs that can count as mind control, but there is no mind control that can count as a drug.

I didn't ask about the PHYSICAL difference. I asked why people are against one method but not another if the result is the same.

Read closer.

Drugs can have mental and physical effects.
Mind Control can only have mental effects.

Why some people are OK with one type but not the other is easy to explain.

ohh the old "seen it in a game so do it in real life thing" like people who play spider-man try to walk up walls, and Call of Duty players go around shooting everyone they see... yeh a non-argument. In general seeing Violence, drugs, rape or anything similar, turns people off, and not on to it. In the few case's where some dumb idiot jumps off a building because he thinks hes superman then its because they are a dumb idiot.. Darwin's Law in effect.
