Its been awhile with him posting something. He said he will do weekly reports but... its seems its out of the window but not even monthly reports has come out so im little bit worried that hes out for something just like not long agoThe irony of this game is, the dev has become lazier and the updates became non-existent after the Dev had resigned from his job and made this VN a high priority.

Well, consider this: if you found yourself in a similar position with a side job generating over $10,000 a month, wouldn't it make sense to transition it into your sole source of income? I mean, imagine having a job that consistently pays you that amount, regardless of whether you actively work or not. Initially, it seemed like he was testing the waters, observing people's reactions and subscription retention rates even when he wasn't actively involved. Perhaps he spun some tales to gauge how his earnings fluctuated based on his level of involvement. Opinions about him vary; some see him as a savvy individual, while others label him as someone exploiting others for money through deceit. Personally, I view him as a shrewd individual who has mastered the art of earning without exerting excessive effort or being tied down by a traditional boss. Speaking specifically about his game and its mechanics, it's clear that he's crafted something truly exceptional. The way he's designed it is akin to a masterpiece, effortlessly grabbing attention and sparking conversations. Of course I have interest in this game specifically the models and render quality. There won't be two digit numbers of games with both being great. I have seen very few devs with great models. Always nice to have another addition.

But I don't think it would be, though. He is mostly out of the picture now, and since repeated infidelities can probably be proved easily he would likely lose the house in a divorce. While I don't remember any specifics hasn't Amelie told him their relationship is over (although not exactly why)?
So to me he is still a parent to his kids and can see them, etc., but the only real plot-relevant thing I see him as capable of doing is maybe publicly announcing Amelie's behavior (but thus proclaiming his own cuckolding to everyone he knows) and suing for custody of Stephanie on those grounds. [MC & Kylie are old enough that no Family Court would be likely to intervene and their emancipation would be far more likely.] If his rage were so vast he would be willing to go to any lengths to punish everyone (including himself) then this might be a possible storyline...but a really dark and unpleasant one.
So to me he is a completely irrelevant side-character now that is pretty much unrelated to the story because that route would be so dark and unhappy that I just can't imagine XR making the choice to upend the tone of his game so completely. But I could also be 100% wrong. As I very often am.

I can see Davie getting all triggered for jealousy or possessy (idk if thats a word lol). Protecting his family or smth idk, because of what happened with kylie and mc in the beggining. You made a point but after all its all theories, sometimes I feel like Davie is already aware of his nephew fucking his wife lmao, the scene in the kitchen where he almost caughts them and then sighs. It almost feels like already knows, but he cant do much about it. Then I wonder if he needs to go back finding a job lol so that way he knows the stress of actually having a real job so he will be motivated to work on HeartProblem to get extra dough.
All jokes and criticism aside from my end, his render is nice and the models are nice. If he recruits a small team to help him write a bit of story, write dialogues, and then render the none important stuff, he can really draw some attention. I am starting to wonder if I should do a side hustle like this lol!

I'll be honest, it's difficult to have confidence in xenorav like that, the guy just disappears, doesn't report the news, more than a month and a half since the last report, with no response.
Guys, 5 minutes or less is enough to make a small post explaining the reason for the absence lately, it's ok we would extend it rather than leaving people adrift without news.
If the delay with episode 8 wasn't enough, this will have to be repeated again
