From that, it would appear that you are only playing the bugfix and not the game itself... you need to download the 1.0 Mac version and then apply the 1.1 patch to it (copy and paste into the 1.0 folder) and then play the game...

Hello there,
I downloaded the game recently and before I really get into it (I'm at the scene where the little statue "revives") I have a small question. Are the two stories (MC and the elf princess) connected in a important way at the start of the game? The overview says that they'll meet each other in the future but... I'm asking because I skipped most of it, since I have little to zero interest in pure lesbian stuff and the elf princess' story seems to be full of it and I'd rather just skip it.

They are quite connected. MC is the fulcrum on which the coming war is balanced, Lynara was raised (in essence) to be his foe. With the two finding each other, the threads of fate become tangled(or untangled depending the view
). Miss Lynara is not set to a path, you guide her. Though, I might recommend going back and reading the text through her misadventures, as some will lead to more comprehension of the tapestry. Her world is/was totally female(some minor/major? exceptions), so, early on in her scenes that is all that is available. Once she is out amongst the masses, things can change(for better or worse). Have fun, hopefully clarified it a bit. One of the intelligent lurkers will be by to recycle and reduce my litany.
I think @Wyrme summed it up quite well, as to the importance of Princess Lynara... the choices you make as her will certainly either make your life as the antichrist easier, or much more difficult, @Krizalid.

yup, looks like you tried to start the bugfix without adding the fix to the main game (I'm still cleaning up version 1.2 for final use so maybe you'll better wait for it and then play this one since it will be a full last release then

UPDATE: The Cruel Passage of Time… - March 26, 2019
Last week was a cruel reminder (at least to me personally) of just how much that TIME is not on our side in life…
The first had been the belief that Palanto and I would have “Chapter One” of the Prologue game out to all of you this month, but the TIME that Palanto had to put into his new job, prevented us from being able to do that, which meant bringing on the ever lovable and talented Booom313 on board…
…but while Booom313 was able to create an import script and assembled a BETA of the game for people to test, we realized that the script a had a bit of a problem distinguishing data (or in this case words) that included an apostrophe in them to show plurals and also had problems with my side-by-side panels.
Booom313 is working to correct it now and would’ve finished last week working on it, but TIME got away from us and our lovable programmer had to switch gears and work on BlueCat’s release for “Ecchi Sansei” this weekend.
While I was able to get some much-needed work done last week, working on “Chapter Two” and keeping an eye on the Beta Tester reports, TIME decided to show me that for us, it isn’t as INFINITE as we’d like, when my good friend and next-door neighbor, Lew, suffered a massive heart attack and passed away this weekend.
In his early 90’s, Lew was a great neighbor and a connection to a past that was a simpler TIME… I’d spend many days together with him in his family room, listening to days long past… of how far humanity had come in the forms of technology, war and ways of living… and how things have changed and devolved in the form of the Human Spirit in such things as simple communication, brotherhood and good neighborly actions.
For me, it had been since my CHILDHOOD YEARS since I lived in a neighborhood in which neighbors looked out for one another… communicated, shared chores with one another, dropped by with a dish of pie or desert and were quick to help one another… but this is the sort of neighborhood that I moved into and live in today, one that TIME had seemed to forget about.
Despite being as FUBAR and physically disabled as I am, I find myself often racing and competing with my neighbors to get out of the house to remove mine and other’s snow or mow our lawns before they can do mine… sometimes we even work side by side and work together to all of the immediate houses around us, to help our fellow neighbors… to give to one another and, maybe, make someone’s life a little easier.
It is a good neighborhood and I am proud to say that I am GOOD friends with my neighbors… so, when Lew’s kids called me with the news, I was devastated and somewhere, in the back of my head and in the darkness of my thoughts, also concerned…
What would become of the neighborhood now? Will one of Lew’s sons or daughter move in… or will the house go up for sale? And what sort of person will move in and become my neighbor now? Will they be as good as the neighbors around me? Or will I have to, at some point, undercover of the night, bury them behind my shed?
Lew had seen his fair share of TIME… watched as it wrestled his wife away from him, watched as it slowly ticked by and the world around him evolved in some ways and devolved in others… he sat and bided his TIME, waiting patiently for it to come and collect him, as it will do for all of us, and this weekend… it finally did.
I am going to miss him. Going to miss our talks and him sharing with me about his life and the TIME he lived in it… but, I am also happy for him! He is in a place where TIME no longer has meaning, no longer can touch and affect him and is, now, once more with his wife in whom he loved and missed dearly.
In the meantime, it is now up to me to live out the rest of my TIME without him, to remember the days and life he led and slowly chip away at the TIME I have left before I can go and see him again, as well as, my many family and friend who have gone before me…
…however, till that TIME comes, I will get back to work with everyone to get this game done and out to all of you and hopefully, sometime this week we’ll have some good news and reports from the Beta Testers and get “Chapter One” out to all of you, so we can share a bit of TIME together and entertain you.
Till that TIME comes, though, know that we are working hard… haven’t forgotten about you or our job to you and thank you for the TIME you’ve given us, as well as, your love and support.

First commiserations on the loss of your friend and yeah the saying is not for nothing that a good neighbor is worth more as a faraway friend. ( Well at least it is a Dutch saying ) Good news is though that a good neighborhood tends to teach new comers so they tend to fall in line unless you have the bad luck that the newcomers are psychopaths. ( In that case it might be wise to start digging behind your shed to have some more space besides poor disappeared William)
Good to hear that the game is coming along and it is better you run now into any flaws as when you are in 5 parts and have to correct all that backlog, we will be patient a little longer though if you test us too long we might make you watch soaps for 4 hours long, just as a warning.

I just finished watching ALL of the Star Trek: TOS, Star Trek Movies, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Enterprise and the Star Trek: Kelvin Universe with the wife starting last May... we are now doing Stargate: SGI and Ranma 1/2!!
BTW: Today is Leonard Nimoy's Birthday... so happy Spock Day!!

There have been whispers around town that those that go to see Dr. Caitlin MacLeish never are quite the same after going to see her for treatments… and still other whispers talk about her doing strange and illegal experiments on her patients!
But that is all just wild rumors… right?
Although, still, there is something peculiar about those who’ve gone to see her and, also, with the “twins”, her own children… Kacee and Kealan…
…so, maybe, there may be some truth to it.

My head is only sreaming: Let me out, I haven't done anything "bad" (yet).
Something I almost sure that the mental health of the person is the least that intrest her....
Also, and of course, my deepest sympathy to your loss. I hope the good memory of your friend can fill a little of the gap he had leaved. I myself haven't (yet) expierenced something similary other than the loss of my grandparents, but I think this is different.
A loss is one of the most private expierenced I my view.
When I pass away I surly wouldn't want all my acquaintance mour over me at the funeral. I would like to have them telling stories about me and my good points as well as all my bad points also. And they shall laught over myself and I would be very happy wherever I am then.
And best wishes to your wife. Hopeful the hell will end soon and you two have more time for yourself.
