i think the issue is less about the shorter release schedule and more about consistency, for example, i don't sub to people like Ptolemy since they are sporadic with updates, however, i do sub to mr dots gaming since he consistently hits his release schedules. if you don't have a schedule or regularly fail to meet ones you have set people will just get annoyed and not sub.

Reason i said thats not planning. And its reason i say smaller update full releases. Bigger the update the longer it take the more stressed devs become and the more they dont keep up with release. Unless its a dev that just do and dont think or plan.

well the reason i brought up mr dots in that is since dmd was on a bi-monthly release schedule and it's fine since hes always on time with it, its down to consistency with a known time frame. i think my attempt at that was a bit to rambly.

Interesting points, but they don't work for me. If I were to, say, do a release per game-day, looking back at the previous 2 chapters, there's plenty o' days where absolutely bupkis is happening that could be considered "adult", but it's necessary for the story and character building. Several of those in a row would raise plenty of complaints. Secondly, I like to do a story arch each chapter and be able to for instance during day 6 call back to little things that may have happened on day one, and if you played that day one several months back or so, you're not going to recall much of that.
So a shorter release cycle may work fine for other great games out there, but it doesn't for me.

Bottom line, the thing that works about LomL is that you get a full chapter each release, and those take a bunch of time. Will that cost fans/supporters? Possibly, but I'll accept that as the cost for doing LomL in the way I think works best.

No, not suggesting to do per day releases. LomL is chapter based while WVM is per day based. My suggestion on a smaller update is just me saying it be less stress on Devs, less complaints from fans and I just want to continue with it cause Macy has just started to be a bit more open. There are still games i wait for that are still have not been released in a long time which im eagerly waiting for. There is only one game that i think will be great, but need a bit more effort put into is Neko Paradise. Your game is understandable for taking long. Can see there is a huge amount of detail placed into. Unlike others that are more of big backgrounds. LomL is more focused on a huge amount of small details.
