Interesting points, but they don't work for me. If I were to, say, do a release per game-day, looking back at the previous 2 chapters, there's plenty o' days where absolutely bupkis is happening that could be considered "adult", but it's necessary for the story and character building. Several of those in a row would raise plenty of complaints. Secondly, I like to do a story arch each chapter and be able to for instance during day 6 call back to little things that may have happened on day one, and if you played that day one several months back or so, you're not going to recall much of that.
So a shorter release cycle may work fine for other great games out there, but it doesn't for me.
Bottom line, the thing that works about LomL is that you get a full chapter each release, and those take a bunch of time. Will that cost fans/supporters? Possibly, but I'll accept that as the cost for doing LomL in the way I think works best.
