That wandering spirit is pretty much important character in the game, i mean i don't know the others but she is pretty much oblivious HAVE TO CATCH when you see her unless it was intentional to kill her. The reason why:
1. She is VERY under level in the map you capture her
2. She is VERY different from the other mobs sprites but it can be catch
3. Unlike Moa Rock that is usually annoying blocking your path for unknown reason she is just locked in the prison
4. This just personal opinion but what kind of monster are you killing her even thought she doesn't have any counter skill/any skill. Even if you just stand literary next to her she won't do anything or moving escaping from you. And also she only give you 1 exp 0 gold, even slime is much better to kill.
I don't know what do you mean by how many rounds? but if you mean how much range it will be, it was 3 and with awakening it will be 4 both will be have 0 sp to cast it.be careful tho if you're cheating her range to have global range, you'll be stuck to have 2 at most permanently, you can fix this problem by change it back to the normal value (2ATmax) at the src st_sk. but the cost is you'll be have to grind it back to considerable amount of catch to fix this bug. I still don't know how other way around to fix this but for me it works, the ideal place for me to grind her seal is on map 1-1 hard mode. You can catch around 20 slime or more with no risk and always get them at max hp. you can also change their xp&goldget in the src st_unit around 50xp and 500 gold (it was the highest xp&gold get i see there if you defeat/catch Lemur) so you can make the grind worthwhile.

The machine translation was literally me just dropping the file into google translate, and then copying over all the latest patch content and fixing all the errors by hand and then uploading it. Everything that was originally translated in the flash version was copied over(by someone else), and everything that came out only in the unity version was machine translated through google translate. Occasional fixes here and there for some lines that came out way too retarded (if i noticed them).
the point was just to make the game playable and understandable on the unity version. The developer kept making new patches to fix shit that wasn't really that broken in the first place, breaking more shit in the process. I don't really have the skills to streamline or fix the translation other than just to just keep going line by line, so I was waiting for the game to stopped being patched so frequently. (or for someone to make a script to patch in legit, community provided, translations) And I ended up just never going back to it.

I captured her and even increased her love to 100 but I didn't get any skill out of it. I reverted that save and gave my love to banshee.

Does any1 have a translation of the config/options? I have tried looking through the translation/guide page and can't find it....
That's fair, I understand most or all of the new content in the unity version was machine translated. Was just unsure how the existing stuff from the flash version was copied over poorly but not pointing any fingers in particular.
Maybe at some point soon I can make a script to create/patch in the translations easily? Also including the graphic/interface files if I can figure out a non-manual/consistent process for doing this. Would probably end up with the translations being hosted on github or similar. Means we'll be able to create a diff of text changed in each version update to identify new/updated lines, which will streamline stuff a lot. Haven't got a lot of time right now but I'll keep it in mind, if you or anyone else is interested. My Japanese language class is starting up again soon so I'll probably be looking for additional material to practice grammar and such with; I usually need to use a dictionary for the vocab but I understand a lot of the basic and intermediate grammar.

Took some screenshot of an earlier version with translated menu, clearly more is added in the current one, but should give you some idea at least (beside that if you download the google translate app on your phone it can actually translate via camera, is a bit hit and miss sometimes with japanese ofc, but maybe that can help with the rest)
(the reason I didn't scroll to bottom for a 3rd screenshot, was because there is only a single untranslated button there left)
