I'm not going to pretend I know what it's like to be in the dev's shoes, but the development of this game has been very disappointing. And releasing "updates" after months without any new content just adds insult to injury. It's never a good sign when a dev starts a new game w/o completing the first one, but still, I thought DLC would be a fresh start. That clearly that hasn't been the case either. I hope the dev figures his life out sooner or later, because his patrons definitely deserve better.

Ok - so this is more of a "foundation" to have a version of this game to continue after DLC. Thats fine by me. I liked this game and I do think DLC is entertaining 
But I can wait for a real continuation of this, before I play it again.

We should gat our OVA of HELLSING on in case that happends. Dev is O.K. ... anything game worthy is welcome here
so there is nothing new? Nothing new compared to old game with many more paths? Nothing new either with the new version with fewer paths? Just bug fix?

Better yet just don't mention their age. The warning at the beginning "all characters are 18 or above" should be plenty. Why does every single game have to mention their ages throughout the story? "Hey I know I look 12 but I'm actually 18" It's quite annoying.
I would say it's because there are ALWAYS people who will complain if their age isn't told...
The dev need to pick their poison between those who will complain about thei looks and age and those who will complain about detail like the one you're pointing.
Even though girl looking 12 while being 24 isn't THAT uncomon, I know 3 of them, so what are we doing? putting them in jail? lol

Just finsished it and it is just as good as the original.
So for me...I'm so glad it's back.... I would not even say the other one is abandoned....more like a normal reboot... a lot of games are changed like this. With some even whole engines are changed or changed from sandbox to linear or vice versa...Enjoyed it very much...
Can not wait for next update.

I first played this a long time ago, and unfortunately it's not as good as I remembered. The changes and re-write are not the problem, if anything it is an improvement. The problem is I have been spoilt with so many good VN games lately that the bar for what is good content has been lifted, and this no longer makes the grade.
It's not bad, it's just not great either. It suffers a lot from fluidity and pacing. Once day you are involved in a shoot out the next you are watching volleyball at the beach. Everything feels rushed and contrived.

I don't know, what the original game was like. But after playing this reworked version i can only say, that i enjoyed it very much.
One thing, tho:
I think there is a bug in the scrip. At this point:

it has to be $ Wife +=1, because the wife-points are reset to "1" otherwise.

Umm... Isn't this actually v.0.11b? Having a version number of 1.0 or greater implies the game has been completed and released as a full version.
