How do i get scenes with Nora? I send her to the king's location but he doesn't take her in automatically. I let her get captued but she escapes. What am I doing wrong?
You need to progress her questline past a certain point before she becomes vulnerable to other characters. Make sure you have not commited to any other girl yet, increase her affection and talk with her a few times, afterwards you need to bring her and Ares to OldBenoit (a city in the snowy part of the map, north of diamond city), and then reclaim the region to the rightful liege, there should be a scene where she and Ares go to diamond city and request that Baroque recognizes the Kingdom of Martha. After this point she should be vulnerable to Baroque and the Hippians.

I guess the main reason is just NTR logic, need to progress her route just enough for her to develop feelings for Ares before she can be stolen.

Nora and Dorothy require advancing their love routes before they can be taken by king or HIPPIANED.COM. In case of Dorothy, this merely requires gifts for loyalty/affection and talking. In case of Nora you don't need affection (although you need it to actually lock love route) but you need to advance to Kasim's capital and recruiting Abraham (and talking to Nora).
This to girls are also the only who's love route cannot be locked after they sleep with the king - Cynthia and Seria lock into bad route, Beatrice and Leane lock into bad route if sex count >100, others are unaffected.

This was one of the few NTR games where I wound up liking the douche NTR-er (Baroque) more than I do the actual protagonist. Ares is just such a spineless (but very competent in military matters??) character that it's hard to relate to most of his actions.

In a way the entire game feels set up for a non-NTR scenario, where Ares, the returning general usurps the obviously tyrannical kingdom, ending the unrighteous practice of royal inheritance (which rewards absolute power to those with the right blood, rather than the right ideals), and forms his own new kingdom, with a harem of loyal and happy female generals, ushering in a new golden age.

And the thing is, there's nothing stopping Ares from achieving this, except for Ares choosing not to do it.

That story would make more sense to me than what actually happens in the game; it's like someone plotted out what I said, and then someone else came along and cut it to pieces in order to intentionally force an NTR focus into the story instead, because where you actually find NTR in this game it rarely makes all that much sense. And don't get me wrong, I like NTR games, but the problem here is that the story often doesn't respect its own internal logic; Ares constantly makes choices that don't make sense, and his motivations are just not clear at all. His existence seems to revolve around being a slave to the ideal of the holy king, even though there's no definable reason.

I think what strikes me as most incongruous about the NTR is that in most games where the protagonist gets NTR'ed, it's for one or several of the following reasons; (1) The girls are sluts, (2) MC likes seeing the girls cheat, (3) MC is too weak to protect them, (4) MC isn't around to protect them, (5) MC doesn't know it's happening.

From what I can tell all of these points are false; Ares knows it's happening. He doesn't like that it's happening. He has the power to stop it. But he just doesn't do anything.

In Ares Case

I think that's not 100% true because it was clearly said in the game world that holy king means everything

So i was also wondering why he can't say fuck to Mister B but he can't

-the story says king need support from people and Noble so Ares can't take power

-if he does, it means war and various faction claiming the rights to power and that's not what he wants

the only stupid thing, our hero ( clever at war ) but dense as fuck when it comes to love and heroine ( poor at love as much as sex ) No Ntr scenario if he wasn't.

Only way for Ares to be looking out for power were to be another interesting road not in the game, his "corrupt road"

For whatever reason he become a madman because of Ntr Treatment

or

Join Hippian Force disgust by King

or

Corruption by demon and becoming one himself.

Author made him to be the good guy were we "player" at least don't mind as much if he suffer from Ntr

Right at the start of the game noone gives a damn about the holy king. Not the main guy in Diamond City, and not the other factions either. The NTR empire to the east doesnt care either. I dont know where you've read that the holy king means everything?

That only seems to apply to the first king that dies. Not to B. You would think that with the way he acts he only pisses the population, its soldiers and generals off.

I agree that King B's position in the game doesnt make sense. Being the one that united the kingdom, Ares and the kingdom he choose to support and his generals should have far more power and population support then the king that spends 24/7 in his personal harem of other people's wives.

I like the gameplay related mechanics (harem etc) a lot, but the plot reasons and characters involved (Ares and king) are very weak. It would have made for far better setup if the first king became the harem king. (or hell, even the Kasim (pretty eastern) guy)

Your thoughts coincide with mine. There's literally no reason for the obsession with the Holy King when outside of the slavery the Hippians are a pretty strong empire. We also see the various Kingdoms led by queens are doing very well for themselves outside of their rivalries with each other.
We also see in the very beginning of the story that once the bloodline was lost most people had no interest in the Holy King and they all fell behind either Gustav or Baroche. If the Holy King was such an important thing not only would the people not allow Gustav to have power and claim to be king supposedly magically he would be punished as (according to legend) no person not the king could become the king.
So really the narrative is pretty weak when it comes to power and its impact on the people.

Also does anyone know how to enter the Island where Seria used to live?
After diamond city conquest scout Port Will, it will open the path to the Island

I agree with you story can be shitty because if Ares got more balls for him, maybe a route were he become himself king and wage war against everyone were to be great.

Like i said earlier maybe after seeing mister B, being a douche king or losing all his general to Hippia or whatever.

But Ares is a good boy and like to serve under "one" and obey order so no hunger for power.

I worked hard to level basically everybody I have in my first run, only to try the "STORY" option from the game menu. Of course I skipped prologue, reselected Aura faction (Stormlance and Hestia factions are still locked cuz I have to clear them first) and then, lo and behold:

Almost half of my MVP generals are among the enemy factions again hahahah hahahahahahahahah

TLDR: STORY mode is basically new game plus where you carry over item equips and levels (didn't check the unlocked skills and the inventory though, I quit the game in shock)

It doesn't carry over the gold, though

Guess I should prioritize Ares, Seria, Carla, Erwin, Ward, and Muriel (maybe Chloe too) judging from the japanese wiki and the story

Beatrice is really strong if you build your magical buildings to level 7 and then improve Beatrice to a wizard. Or Cynthia as a Adept is also great for fighting. Ares, Seria and Leane are not that good in my opinion

If you want to keep your earning don't use skip in restart mode :)

my first run ( stormlance kingdom ), i use hawk thinking he was great before .... bip bip bip ^^ spoiler, then get to lvl Leanne and
Randolph, with a low lvl Ares, but being lucky i also lvl ward class adept with his cheat skill HundredFists

First run end - Muriel ending ( easiest ending to get ) - restart with no skip, select another faction, oh gosh Stormlance Leanne and Randolph will give me a hard time.

Forced to do a re-run in stormlance to lvl starting roster or lvl the guy you will not have to fight

The knight and Cavalry classes suck in this game low speed and power. which is very odd cause Cavalry should be the fastest unit in the game yet it easily gets outflanked by everything. Where can I get that 54 spd Demon unit you'd never lose if you have them

It is good strategy to make your troops learn long range spells and have a few spies, who you can keep at 1/1 troops. Ares and mages can learn some useful spells but it's not that easy. They have to come up with the right move in the battle which might require some save scumming. Ares can learn Thunderstorm, Beatrice and Sabrina Aqua Stream, Dorothy can learn something like lava rain or maybe even Meteor rain, Wendy can learn Tornado and Quake, Rakwaroth can learn Tornado, his brothers probably too, Vertinus got that Meteor Rain. Also Seria, Keith can learn One Million Strikes skill, which is also long range attack and probably those bandit looking commanders like Shark can learn it too cause one of them (Eagle) did. Also they should have Ignite from the start so they can be useful as spies. Nora is a great spy with Bomb from the start and she can learn Massive Bomb.
Therefore if there's a strong fort to take you send spies and make them Ignite and Bomb the place and get captured, blast it with spells from distance and at the end you can send your cavalry at almost helpless enemy.
A good place to level up with these skills is when you take South Andrea Plains you let the Highland Army take the Fort and they should have 7 commanders there to blast.

In my new game+ I would have to fight lvl 30 Beatrice with 11400 wizard troops D: ... so I'm starting over and I will level the generals I already have from the start

by the way, I had help from the wiki so I aimed for Carla in my first run, since my 1st target Cynthia got the Holy King treatment ...I only really looked at wiki during the 2nd part

I only started using spy skills also during the 2nd half :p

Also I think I should spam related basic skills first to get their advanced versions (like Thunder to Thunderstorm)

I was trying to do the Leane route and seem a bit stuck. I'm at 100 loyalty, 100 affection, she's a virgin, Ares hasn't slept with anyone, and the last conversation she had was saying she needed a holy sword. Well, I got the holy sword but I think I messed it up; I sent Cynthia with Ares to the Saint tower or w/e because I didn't think it mattered who went, and it returned a holy spear of some sort. Leane can use it, but when I give it to her she just acts like it's a random weapon. Her dialogue is just stammering Ares do you want to my consort. If I end the game it doesn't let them get married either.
[EDIT] So it's actually the Earth crystal that drops her sword, in south east area, for some reason I thought I read someone saying it was the ice crystal.

You need the EvilSwordGarp that you need to take from one of the crystals. Forgot which crystal though

By the way, didn't somebody post some soldier type advantages? I don't know where it is.... something like adepts vs mages vs melee vs something else...
