then why has it been 2 months since the last update and the only thing that has been updated is VA? lol especially in a time where were all supposed to be home. so no shit people are against because like i said 2 months without an update and the only thing that is updated is VA. so as you can clearly see it SEEMS it is taking up your time and money. But we just have to take your word for it that it doesnt. but i wont be supporting any more till i see that it doesnt.

You should try it out and see. I think the 4 voice actors really did a great job. Wasn't easy finding them =]

It HAS NOT made development longer, why do you keep saying that? I released an update April 15th and will release another one this weekend like usual.

because it has, you keep saying your not behind but then contradict yourself with your own post saying you are behind in your other project's thread Hunger of chaos, and then you said it takes about 3 weeks for each update of each VN so according to your own words, assuming you started working on HoC after last PP update, then after HoC update assuming you started working on the PP update that would be about 6 weeks which is 42 days, and its been 52 days now and you said it wont come out till this weekend, so again how exactly has VA not delayed development?

Do I really have to explain I don't release on the dot every 21 days? Sometimes it might be 24 days, sometimes 25. I release ABOUT every 3 weeks. Does that make it a bit more clear? This is my own schedule that I've made, so I don't get what you're trying to do by calling me a liar or trying to prove that wrong or something.

I'm not on a deadline. I make the game and then I release it when it's ready. For me that takes about every 3 weeks. If it took a month then it would be every month. If I want to add something else like animations or extra story then it might take 5 weeks or however long. That's the process of creating a video game. Why do you think so many major studios delayed games? For entire years or months.

I'm telling you voice acting didn't delay the game. I have no clue why you are telling me that I'm lying. And I really don't have time for it.

What are you on about? All you have "proven" is that a coincidence exists. The updates were delayed (although not by much - compared to what many devs do), but were they delayed because of the VA? He's outsourcing the voice acting - he's got it down, streamlined. He sends out the scripts; the voice actors read their lines and send them back to him as audio clips; he writes the code to play them when needed. It is literally one line of code per VA line, and even that can be copy pasted, changing just the file name.

"yay, wooohooo, finaly a can go on with daddy fun"
but only get Voices.

We are all getting the game for free so deal with or don't play the game.

Fully agree with the notion that a pirate site where we get what we get when we get it *free* bc someone who DOES support the dev decided to grace us with their generosity isn't the place to bitch about how much or fast you get to enjoy it. I realize in the age of 'I deserve what I want, now, free bc someone told me so' things like courtesy & being a decent human being is a dying trait. Supporting works like this: you like what someone is doing so you toss em' some change as a way of saying you like what they're doing, its not employment, you don't magically become their boss.

Regarding all the people complaining about the VA taking up time/ $ and not getting a story update I feel ya, there are titles that all I want is for the dev to hurl story content at my face in rapid succession but with PP all I can say is Y'all a bunch of uncultured savages! =P

Imho, when done well VA can push a game's general allure & hawtness levels to over 9000 & I have faith Superwriter has maintained his commitment to producing excellent content with this addition to the game >;D

You got it exactly right, Ontach. The game is delayed by DAYS because I was also searching for an animator, which I did find and have animations all sex scenes from Ch. 1 - 6 animated, then learning how exactly to put them into the game, etc. Searching for a good music service to add and then searching for music, etc.

Searching for voice actors and going back and forth took only a day once girls started responding to emails and I did the rest AFTER I'd written that day or rendered.

But all I have to do is send the actors the lines and they send them back. Then it takes 2 hours or less to code it. Very simple.

Right, but if I didn't update the game with the voices, you would still be getting it this weekend regardless. I did not sacrifice anything for the voice acting. Though if you want to call one day a delay for the voice acting, then I apologize.

Hmm voice acting is ok but sounds a bit too cutesy in places, especially miracle. Fair play for trying it though & nice to see someone doing something different. From playing some of the big budget telltale games i know it isn't an easy thing to do right as even then it often sounds like people are just reading lines rather than actually speaking naturally like you would in a conversation, This feels the same & isn't helped by only having the 3 girls speak. It's a bit weird & feels like it needs to be an all or nothing thing really and when some of the incedental characters like guy at mall, shop assistant, acting teacher etc don't have voices it just seems strange. Is there a way to hide/remove the text boxes if you have the voices on? Maybe this would help

Liking the voice acting but for some reason its volume was tied to sound volume rather than the voice slider. Took me awhile to figure out why Miracle was so quiet.
