Trying to get this installed on my PC, I get a Read Error, complaining it can't locate basic info data at [...]/The Imperial Gatekeeper/Data/BasicData/Game.dat

Your Game.dat may be corrupted I guess, or maybe you mixed up different versions?
What are you running exactly?

If you downloaded PCP it has its own translation, own decensoring, own everything, it's standalone

But I run into the same issue after taking out the files I replaced and replacing them with the original ones (from the MEGA link in the OP, 1.42 JP-EN)

The producer of the game is still going to add stuff to the game, but we still have great modders out there that are still spicing it up.
I see, but the updated version of this post has new things ? sorry for my ignorance but I would hate to play the same game all over again to find out nothing changed

I'm working on another hotfix.
I included DXADecode in the dev package. You can use that to extract the .wolf files for now
Wolf Editor also has an import/export function for the database entries that's really useful for moving things around

Procrastinatus mod has new additions to the game and he fixes a lot of typos and stuff. He just hotfixed it to v1.1 aswell

Does my PC need anything to handle the .wolf files, or is this something else? Also, if I try to run the game in japanese locale, I get a Writing Error, where it can't write to Game.ini

Apparently, it might be an issue that the filepath includes "ü", so I'm gonna try to move the game to a different location and get back on y'all with this

Procrastinatus i had an idea for a new race that is easy to make. Just make Dark Elfes/Drow using the same body type as Elfes and make them dark skinned with different skin tones eksampel dark purpleish and dark grey. Other skin colour for the normal elfes could be brownish for that wood elf feel.
