Anyone else run into an issue where you lose the ability to run/sprint/walk fast whatever you wanna call it? I seem to be stuck in a permanent sneak state and can't figure out why.

- depositing all items I could (maybe I missed an encumbrance mechanic...)
- resting a few times in a row at the inn since one NPC mentions something about resting seeming different from just using potions/recovery items
- Copying save file to a fresh download
I don't think that's supposed to be in the game (never heard of it).
That doesn't sound like a game mechanic, but it does sound like something's wrong with your computer.
I hate to be "that guy", but have you tried restarting your computer?
I'm thinking your Shift key (which controls walking/running speed) is stuck somehow.
With some google-fu, one suggestion (aside from testing other hardware), is trying Function+insert+numlock.
Another is to check/disable Sticky Keys if on Windows.

Ok, I've downloaded again from here, the title still says 1.14 but now the music works
Actually had not tried restarting my computer since normally I just leave it until it needs an update...unfortunately, it didn'thelp. Not too surprised since the shift key is working fine and it isn't bugged on new games/other save files. Just saves made from that singular game file.
And yeah I didn't think so...hopefully it is a one time bug...if I run into it again I'll probably be paying more attention to the sudden change in speed.
Yeah, I'm thinking that OP used a newer version (v1.14) than what I used to translate (v1.12), but my translation should take the game back to v1.12; if the game version mismatch bothers you, you can easily fix it manually in the game.info text file in your directory. Feel free to report back if you continue to have bugs.
That's strange. Another thought I was pondering was perhaps in the Options menu, your "always dash" isn't checked?
However, I realize that this game doesn't even have that option/menu ... Sorry, I'm out of ideas. If it's just that singular game file, it might be worth it to just start anew, since the game really isn't that hard (lots of ways to cheat anyway).

Could just be RPGM I noticed that after the 10th floor when going to the Item List it started going slow after the last upgrade from the shop, never found the Luminous Beast but ended up finishing the game anyway so didn't need that one.

I've said this already, but my patch already has a full save included. Not sure if it's in the OP, but you can find it on ULMF or in my sig. As for a walkthrough, honestly, I don't see the need; the game really isn't that hard. I've already put some helpful tips in the Read Me, and the game has cheats built in (e.g. the Man in Black in town), but feel free to ask questions if you get stuck.

Agreed about a walkthrough, I went through pretty much everything walking around, going up the tower and checking in with people. Fun game, nice situations, definitely not hard.
Yeah, no worries. It'll only be a mild annoyance if it crops up again. And it certainly isn't that much of a loss. Just found it odd and wanted to check.
This sorta seems a bit more likely...

Just wanna say thank you very much for this. The game is great and it's very nice to hear that the full completed newest version will also get translated. Keep up the good work!Yup, that's v1.2 alright. Damn it, I was seriously pushing my google-fu to the limit in looking for this. Impressed that you found it. And it's a mixed blessing because (as much as I wanted to take a break), I'm working on ANOTHER translation, but I wanna stop that one to finish my translation for v1.2 of this game ... which is gonna take forever, since it's not as simple as just copy/pasting everything.
But thanks a ton. I guess I'll pause my other translation to finish this one, since these images look NICE. Might take some time though, and I imagine there will be some playtesting and bug-squashing too.

Yeah, really sorry, but I can't get it working in Translator++, so I gotta put it on the backburner for now. My bad.
Currently working on a similar game to translate though, but after that one, I might need to take a break.

Anyone know how to get past floor 6 where the adventure tells you to hug the outside of the wall to get past the rubble? I already got the knights crest and defeated the 3 mobs, no idea how I am supposed to get to the stairs.
