In the lobby, there's a white square where the level should be. Click and hold it and set it to any level (it's white because it somehow got set to 0 and minimum is 1). Hope this helps

All gallery pics (so far) are unlocked by them doing their job and appearing in the transition screen. So either you need to assign a certain job to them you haven't so far, or if you "overshoot" and are at a higher level already, you are in bad luck.

Pic 5 is her doing housekeeping with level 2 (but not level 3) clothing unlocked. If you already unlocked level 3 or higher clothing, you are out of luck methinks.

Faerin has told in some post, last month, that even if Julia or any other girl is at tier higher level, it will show the missing picture anyway. The game should show the missing picture from your collection first.

When you talk to her, did you try other options? She ask if she is beaultifull in the middle of talk, only one of the answers make the game progress, the botton one if i remember.

I don't get there. He just says "she's busy I don't want to bother etc.." and just moves on.
The first time I played the game I got that scene, but after starting over it just doesn't trigger

Guests just eat and sleep. That"s all.
In another copy of the game, when Laura come - no one asks for a massage.
For 80 days she sit in one place (medical cabinet) and done nothing.

me too the guest will stuck at 40% vip1, i'am playing like crazy 312 game days now almost get all the card but no luck getting gym, sauna, and massage order

Guests will only ask for Services equal their Level... so Level 1 guests won't ask for Sauna or Gym [tier 2] and Level 2 guests won't ask for massages [tier 3]

how do you leveling up your guest to tier 2, i'am stuck at vip 1 40%

You have to change the level in the lobby to get the customer to ask for Sauna/Gym (level 2) or Massage (level 3).
In the top left corner of the lobby there is a number which means the guest level you are receiving

Windows 7 users need to install Visual C++ 2015 (x86) to see webp images.

Make sure that you don't have any newer version of Visual C++ (2017/2019) installed. If you do, uninstall them first and install Visual C++ 2015 afterwards you can install 2017/2019 in chronically order on top of 2015.

Windows 10 users need either to install pending Windows updates incl. optional updates or do the same as Windows 7 users.

Note: Game build is x86 therefore you need VC x86 even if your system is 64-bit.

Thanks to the save you posted I was able to easily find the bug.
It appears that your guestlevel is set to 0 somehow (1 should be the minimum).
By clicking and holding the little white square in the lobby (which is supposed to show the current level, but 0 doesn't exist, so it shows a white square) and setting it to 1, you should be able to fix this.

I'll make sure that won't happen anymore in the next version.

I have replicated the black screen problem myself on a laptop I have which had only windows 10 20h2 installed, and yes you must have Visual C++ 2015 x86 runtime to be able to play the game, otherwise you'll see the black screen issue but the play goes on until you reach Isabella and you have to choose the first card (if you play the introduction) but you can't choose anything.
If you haven't Visual C++ 2015 x86 runtime and you skip the introduction you'll only see that Julia says some senteces but the program stacks at the sentence "Why don't you find the lobby and click on its icon to go there?"
I have seen that someone has added the Black screen Fix inside Installation Section, I think that no one will read it if it stays there, is better to put it outside the Installation instructions.

Here comes the funny thing: We tried to narrow down which Windows update enables webp support on Windows 10 without the need to installing Visual C++ 2015. For some of us it worked without VC (Windows updates-only) and for others, with the exact same Windows build version and installed updates, it didn't worked without VC.

Probably because some other installation you made when you have prepared your system has installed a Visual C++ x86 runtime, that's why on some PC works and some not. My system is already up to date, there isn't any other patch to install on it.
But as soon as I have installed this runtime the game works correctly again.

There were no runtime installed to begin with. A fresh set up of Windows 10 with nothing more than Windows updates installed.

1. Assign Julia to the lobby.
2. Click and hold the icon in the top left corner.
3. Choose the desired guest level (the maximium number you can choose is her current lobby skill level).

Just to clarify: are you saying this doesn't work for you, or did you not try this yet (because I don't see Julia being assigned to the lobby in your screenshots)?

I remember thinking that as well, in the golden days of yore.

Seriously though, I will probably include an installation and troubleshooting guide like I did with MotH (though I have to refrain from referring to my previous comment ).

Yeah, sorry.
I just found that on my main system even if I remove those runtimes the game works and even if I remove nVidia graphic driver, probably something else in the system can decrypt webp images.
But I think is better to install Visual C++ Runtime anyway, they are harmless and can solve this problem once and for all.
