i have a problem at the beginning. all i can do is move camera and look on the legs. the image is going dark and nothing is happening. help please

No messages appearing hints a scene script execution problem. Maybe damaged install?
If you don't mind, post the run logs found at "C:\Users\<user>\AppData\LocalLow\The Architect\Lust is Stranger\Player*.log"

Was it really? All people I know who played it were more than happy to let Chloe die and considered it a great uplifting ending. I myself was smiling from ear to ear all the way through - finally keeping her alive was not required to progress.

Far as this goes, its nice to see a porn game which requires more player input than just clicking on speech bubbles.

The game is not finding script files in your system. It might be indeed a broken installation or some weird/unexpected character in the installation folder is breaking the file location.
Unity should have handled this, but I suggest extracting the game to a shorter folder path with no special characters and test it again.

The game is not finding script files in your system. It might be indeed a broken installation or some weird/unexpected character in the installation folder is breaking the file location.
Unity should have handled this, but I suggest extracting the game to a shorter folder path with no special characters and test it again.
extracting the game to a shorter folder path helped and it works like a charm :) big cold beer for your help !

Hi The Architect , just wanted to let you know that I'm loving the game so far (I'll write a proper review once there is some more content).

On my first playthrough however I got stuck on Brooke's drone quest. In order to lure the principal out of his office you needed 2 intelligence or 'someone smart to help you'. I didn't have 2 intelligence and no one wanted to help me. Justin only sells lockpicks, Brooke only tells you to hurry and get her drone, your teacher is busy and tells you to fuck off and the janitor can't help you either. So in the end I had to start a new game and get 2 intelligence through conversation options.

Did I miss something or is this a bug?

I really do not understand the reason why dev's feel the need to put annoying mini 'games' (they are not games, they are needless busywork) shame this one does as well.

One thing I would say for game flow purposes is that Taylor will mention the missing bracelet but it won't spawn in-world until you've gone through all the rest of her conversational options. Some people (i.e. me) might waste a bit of time trying to go find it before figuring this out, so I'd either reorder the dialogue tree so the bracelet is mentioned last or key the in-world appearance to its first mention.

It's a bug. Brooke should give the chance to help.
You can try the attached patch to solve the dialog problem. Just extract in the game folder.

It's something I personally like and believe that adds to immersion. However, I usually include alternate options to progress without having to win mini games.

The bracelet spawns the first moment you enter the area. You don't need to speak with Taylor to pick it up.

I seem to have locked myself

I have 4 objectives but cant seem to progress

I want to prank the principle but I can't, Im not smart enough? Spoke to every I can but unable to progress.
I need into the girls bathrooms but I can't, I pushed too much after passing the smooth talker, unsure how to progress here?

I can only enter two main areas, just outside art and the connecting hall.

any ideas?

What about stolen assets? Architect made his own look-alike models, no?
It's quite ironic to talk about stolen assets on the pirate site, where people share stolen content...

For each his own. I like The Architect games, not only because of his writing style, but also, because of gameplay he provide. And in every game he come up with something new.

I have two questions:

Can I turn off the motion blur? and can I progress past the Taylor is blocking the bathroom door task? I failed the smooth talk part.

Either way this looks absolutely fantastic, next tier type of game.

This game looks pretty nice, I'm gonna hold a few more updates to try it myself. To the people that played the game so far, how would you describe the protagonist? Is he a friendly guy to the other characters or he is more the corruption kind of guy? Can someone give me a little hint about the plot without spoiling too much? Thank you and good luck with the project.

I'm currently making a walk-through document. Very basic but I've been working through all of the choices so far. Some of the effects from dialogue seems to have much larger rewards or consequences than others so I've been slowly measuring each action that the player can do
I'll post it here once the next release update drops, and I hope it helps everyone

Hey, I'd say the protagonist will be slightly more of a villain than a hero. Having said that, there seems to be a good/bad karma system in place, so I think you'll be able to decide exactly how good or bad the MC is. The plot so far is that you're working for Mr Jefferson in order to corrupt the girls and completing tasks to take pictures of them, but that may change massively, I'm not sure what the true story will be yet
