when your inmap selection, you have to up the % of residental, recreation, resisdence, and so on or very little will show on the map,Once you are on your selected Map a Tip will appear in the top left of the Screen, telling you to find a Home, and to Press "R" to do that.
when creating a Npc, at the bottom of the characters stats, waaaaay at the bottom, there is Current, Career, Home, and something else, cant remember, as long as they are in your contact list you can find them by clicking on Home, Current , and so on and it will take you where they are, sometimes they leave before ya get there just click Current again and it will "auto" you to themHelp??
I've had one bug while running it on Linux: imported textures won't select. Have you been able to use them at all? Other than that, no problems I couldn't duplicate on Windows.Runs perfectly fine on Linux. I've tested 4.1 on both Manjaro with GNOME, and Debian with KDE Plasma, on two different machines.
Clipping was one of the main things being addressed and a really good job was done on fixing it.On top of that many of the old clothes that caused the clipping was removed. So for the most most part you should be gucci.I haven't played version 4 yet but I hope it fixes a lot of the main issues I've had. I've always liked the gameplay but I found the visuals to be a large drawback. Everything seems to clip into each other and it ends up being a big ugly mess. I like the amount of love being put into this game. Calling it a sandbox would be an understatement. This game is the entire desert.
its quite easy, all you need to do is when creating your own scenes you write in the clothes you want worn with the actions, where when and who, that way they automatically are worn when you start to travel to different places, works very well for the 1000 or so mods that ive made and play with, and it saves time trying to reclothe all the timeVinfamy
Hey man have you thought about adding the function to save outfits for different activities? Which are then automatically chosen when you are in such a setting?
Office outfit 1
Office outfit 2
Everyday outfit 1
...
Sport outfit 1
...
Sleep outfit 1
...
etc.
Basically how it is done in Newlife.
At the moment it's still a bit complicated if you do different activities after each other. So at least I regularly end up doing sport in my office outfit. This is not an issue most of the time but when an event happens it sticks out if you are the only person with no fitting outfit.
It's obviously not a big and important issue but it regularly pops up when I play.
It might also help with the occasional "naked at an event" bug which pops up sometimes when the game can't decide what you should wear.
Anyway love seeing how the game has developed over the last years.
Someone needs to post the first character models so new players realise how things have improved.
If you look in LifePlay/Config/DefaultEngine.ini you'll see a section called "/Script/Engine.Engine". You can either play around with the framerate values there, or set bSmoothFrameRate to False to uncap itFPS is locked at 60. Any way around that?
Thanks. Setting bSmoothFrameRate=False did the trickIf you look in LifePlay/Config/DefaultEngine.ini you'll see a section called "/Script/Engine.Engine". You can either play around with the framerate values there, or set bSmoothFrameRate to False to uncap it
yes, dogs and horses, there's a module in the mod manager that you need to enable (unofficial bestiality module)hey guys, can i fuck the animals in the game? (not a fetish for everyone, i know), or at least a mod that meke it possible?
one full Wiki coming upCould someone please post a de facto list of all the relationship types (Sibling, Dating, Spouse, Parent, Boss, etc.) in the current 4.1 build of the game. The 'Docs' folder seems to be devoid of this information, and it would be handy to have.
My thoughts exactly.Damn! The new walking animation wearing heels is HOT! Instant hard-on. I tried to make a strip catwalk. Lined up tables, put chairs around it, put lights around it now I need markers where they walk outside the next one walks in but..... couldn't find the damn markers!
