Game is reading save folder before sending you to main menu, reason for this is to whether or not it should show you 'continue' button. If you played previous versions of the game, there might be some files messing up with that process, silently throwing error each step. Similar thing happened to someone else before and I tried to prevent that from happening but I guess I missed something.
Anyway, try deleting your save folder inside C:\users\'username'\appdata\roaming\kingdom_lost . Sorry for the trouble.

I'm not sure what's the problem about missing heads and conversation, but I'll add it to my bug list. You can force reset the game by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+Q in similar cases. Though it might not always work, depending on the bug.
About stairs and doors, we are aware of this issue among our players, we are planning to add specific decoration objects just used at room transitions like in front of doors or stairs, so players would know where to look to go to the next area.

Yes, we don't force any sex scenes on players but you'll most likely get raped if you lose in NSFW version. Maybe I should add an option to disable it and wake up in somewhere else just like the SFW version, what do you guys think?

Dammit there are tons of errors because of save file issues, guys just make sure to delete your save folder if game doesn't open. It's located at C:\users\'username'\appdata\roaming\kingdom_lost , you can quickly open appdata folder by pressing WIN+R and typing appdata, then navigate to roaming\kingdom_lost folder, delete the 'saves' folder.

Amazing potential, genre, music, pixel art! Congrats!
But constant crashes ruin the experience.
I do not understand why did you configure the game to crash on tiny bugs and to not suppress them. Make it crash only in debug mode. It feels too raw now.

Bugs found after 15 minutes of gameplay so far:

If the crate is empty, and you press S, the game crashes.
In the INN choose "you can fuck me ...",
proceed and finish the scene, go to random guy on the same floor.
You will see sprites mixing with previous guy. Repeat with another guy and your game will be stuck on the choice, and you can't use anything, even load. You will need to force close.

Also, sex instead of fight is not so rewarding for now, and it's not making sense for a porn game... More benefits of sex path in the future maybe...?

Thank you and I'm sorry for the bugs. As much as I would like to prevent game from crashing as you said, suppressing bugs require to know them before hand, and I solve bugs as long as I know the problem. Another issue with that is, since many systems communicate with each other, one fault in one system may affect others, so suppressing the error might make the error lot more complicated for me while not benefiting players in the end.
I'll look into the problem at the inn you mentioned, AI system is very old and needs an overhaul(which was on my todo list for a while now) so I'm not surprised if that's the problem. For now I'll see if I can come up with a quick fix and release a bugfix.
About the crash when pressing 'S' in empty chests, I need more info since I my game doesn't crash when I do the same thing with empty crates.

Hmm, we have the same aspect ratio and I never had this problem in any device I tried. Did you played earlier versions? Did you tried changing your settings from options menu? Maybe try switching to windowed mode and reduce window size (SCALE options just below FULLSCREEN option). Looks like window size is bigger than your screen, which isn't normally allowed when you are changing screen size from options menu. If that doesn't work, let me know and I'll add this to my bug database and see if I can figure it out later.

Like this.and i cant find the settings in any data files to change the resolution our somthing.game settings doesnt help.
