If you are not his patreon sub, it's little confusing since he said status update on Christmas update and 0.3.5 in end november, was 0.3.0 the Christmas update??

I have no idea about all of that, but usually when someone here asks about an "update", they mean a new version of the game. Since Betisis himself updates here, if someone's asking the logical assumption is that they mean v0.3.5, which isn't available publicly yet, unless someone leaks it of course. If they mean they want the latest news, fair enough I suppose.

If you're not his patreon sub and dk details, logically you can take from what is written is, that he worked on 3.5 and Xmas update, while he was still working on 3.0, this post was before the release of 3.0... So it's completely normal to ask, if it's going to be another update like a Christmas update from what is written not knowing the details, since Christmas it's practically here...

Agree to disagree. Given how recent v0.3.0 was released on F95 (only 11 days ago), it's not a very good assumption that another release would be posted here already. So if you're not a patron and don't know details, you can logically assume you'd have to wait some time still since it wouldn't be publicly available yet. Again, agree to disagree. Either way, I'm done with this discussion.

Would have been logical, if he wasn't said 3.5 and "Xmas update", woudn't be logical to release "Xmas update" after "Xmas"... Secondly no one says anything about public release, or to be up day one on F95, but for a release, maybe pay attention to what is said next time, and don't be jerk to someone who only asks questions like "trbbles and bits"...

Ok I give up. See you in a couple of months/years people. I just don't get the story and what the dev wants it to be. It just feels so weird and I think a LOT of details are retconned/moved each update(mainly in 0.2.5). Since those side stories are technically still part of the main story since the dev said they were just removed for now since they look rushed and will be added back on future updates, that might be a good time to come back and follow it again if ever the game reaches that point. Until then, see you around other threads!
PS: I still think it's funny that our MC kinda looks like John Cena. Or I guess it's just me.

Did you put in into Buried Desires/game/ folder? It's not the same folder where .exe file is.
yes my main issue is that my windows computer doesnt know what to do with .rpa and other renpy code, most other games on here auto change it to windows compatible like .exe but for this stuff its like i need a different software app to be able to use the application? idk im new to pc stuff so any info is helpful. it keeps using internet explorer to try to open and use the patch/game.

It sounds like you're double-clicking or otherwise trying manually to open the file. You shouldn't try to open the patch yourself. Just copy it into the game folder Moonis mentioned, and then run the normal executable for Buried Desires. The Ren'Py gaming engine will automatically recognize the patch and apply it. Don't do anything with the .rpa file except place it in the game folder. The Buried Desires game should take care of everything else.
okay sweet, thats helpful, my computer automatically tries to read the patch through internet explorer, is that normal or is there a better way?

What I indicated earlier is normal; if your computer is automatically trying to read it using Internet Explorer, something is wrong. But your computer shouldn't try to find a program to read the file on its own anyway if you do what I described before. Your machine should only try to figure out what program to use to read a file if you try to open the file. Otherwise, the file just exists on your hard drive. And since you have the game installed, the Ren'Py that the game uses will read the file.
Be sure not to double-click the file, select the file and press Enter, or anything similar to that. Just copy the file to the aforementioned game folder (right-click and choose Copy from the menu). That should be all you do with the file. After that, just run the Buried Desires game and you should be good to go.

I was encouraged when the v3.0 update went back to the school and did a little bit more with both the teachers and the students, as that was what caught my attention with the original release and had been disappointed that it had been completely ignored for the next few releases.
Hopefully more school development is incoming, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

How can you call that development? Taking what this is now it's just a mish-mash of broken and missing scenes with a story line with as many holes as a colander, it's wonder anyone can follow it anymore. From my experience of 0.3 most of the time was spent doing random things around the house and spending most of the "school" time in the parking garage. It's made all the worse by the broken gibberish that this game calls English.
