Thanks!
My game is indeed bugged I'm afraid! I haven't seen any of that.
I will start fresh.
No problem. (I'm apparently out of likes for today)

But as TD said, and based on my own past experiences, this sounds a lot like you're using an old mod version with a new game version, so you'd have to completely delete the game folder and "install" it fresh.

Oh, and keep in mind, some mods really fuck with game variables so even using old modded saves can frequently result in a game constantly spewing errors at you. I haven't experienced this with PC, but I have with others.

Sorry, I can't check myself at the moment, but could you explain a little more about this bug?
Sure. Say that you have 150 pages of saves, but the one you want to load is on page 149. If you hit Continue it takes you to the most current save page of 150. You hit the arrow to the left of the A it doesn't go to page 149 as it should . . . or so I thought. I just discovered playing around with it now that it's not as broken as I thought. You just have to click in the blank space a little to the right of the left arrow to make it work. If you try to click directly on the arrow, though, it doesn't do anything.

If I had one complaint, it would be that the MC seems a little too predisposed to bullying Mina rather than having the option to treat her as an equal.
I think you pointed out an interesting point, taught to be good / inherited to be good. MC, in my point of view, is an example of "taught to be good". No matter which background you chose for the MC (voyeur, firestarter or slippery hand), introducing such a background at the beginning of the story did convince me that MC prolly is a natural-born troublemaker (in a general sense) by emphasizing this as one of the three important background pieces out of MC's 20 years of history. Plus the monologue right at the very beginning of the game of how MC trying to convince himself that he is "decent" by pointing out he is a pre-med student, calling mom twice a week etc. It really put a "huh" regarding MC's true nature.
Although it pains me a little of how Mira is being handled by MC in the sex scene, it is strangely quite in line of what I thought the MC would do in this situation, especially after being exposed to the drug from von Doom to "awaken the beast" so to speak.

For people like me who are interested in trying to pull Killian out of his assholish ways and make him a better person, it feels like we really missed an opportunity here to get into just why Mina gave Ian so much rope and what exactly she wants to do abut him going forward.
I did have the same question as well. But then I realize Mira is still trying to identify herself, which is hinted when she admitted she sometimes felt distance with the responses she gave out. I guess she just doesn't truly understand herself in order to make such a decision.
I did have a friend had a similar situation, his SO does raise tons of red flags, and despite of everyone said "just break up with that toxic sludge", he just say "huh.... I don't know...." He gave me a feeling that he wasn't blinded with love or something, he just didn't know what to feel and hence, produce an appropriate response to the situation.
In my head, if Mira is asked what does she like about Killian, I think the first sentence that comes out of her mouth would be "I don't know" then followed by "He is good looking and he is my 1st BF" XD

Just some extra rambling
Speaking of MC's true nature. He was saved by his mother when MC was a kid and become a "decent" adult till the story began. As the subtopic pointed out, motherly love is one of the main focus of this game, I wonder if the future plot requires she to save MC once again and pull him out of this hell hole which is Pale Carnation.

Just my 2 cents :D

I believe the issue is a side effect of adding the Page numbers back to the save/load game screens. The "Box" for the page number field is much larger than the text and partially overlaps the "back" button. If you accidentally mouse-over that portion of the button, you wind up trying to retitle the screen rather than click the back button.

Once that happens, you need to hit enter (or otherwise close the page name field", then click more carefully on the button you actually want to hit. (Basically, make sure the "Page XX" text isn't highlighted when you click on the back button.)

I'm still holding out hope. Cmon man, not a whole harem, "just" (if such a thing could be used to describe them) 2. :ROFLMAO:
Yeah, I would be even fine to end up with Mina and the Milf...but then we have our hot mom who did porn in the past and we cant romance her either ?!
Speaking of blue balling the Player here...

Anyone else notice that Felicia's tan lines is a lot less obvious now? I was playing the older scenes and she was much darker then. Either that or Elias' penthouse has really bright lighting.

I understand the MC is concerned about disappointing Kathleen, but when I already have negative trust with Kat it's not clear why that's such an overwhelming priority.
The answer is actually simple. Kathleen is still MC's employer. Continuously underperforming the task given could potentially lead to dismissal of MC's employment.

With the money at her disposal, Felicia could almost certainly have built up her own resources in a long, slow process (even if she needed to hide the details from Elias)
The question is whether Felicia actually has "money at her disposal" or not. I personally doubt it because her money is Elias'. She isn't rich, he is. While obviously she'd have the freedom to spend thousands of dollars on clothes, etc, that kind of number is not going to be meaningful enough to build resources. Not to mention that she has no experience/background in that kind of thing to begin with.

it seems to solidify the existing paths: those pursuing Felicia have even more incentive to help her out, while those who rejected her have no reason to rethink that decision.
But isn't that essentially the purpose of choosing any path? When you're on a certain path, you get to learn more about the character, and therefore more likely to understand/agree/support them. If you aren't on their path, clearly you're playing the MC who isn't interested in that character.

In short, Hana's still awesome and has by far the best connection with the MC.
This is pretty straight forward because Hana is the only LI that is closest to "normal". However, the cost of being normal is being naive in her point of view. During the conflict with the MC, she wasn't wrong when she said that wrong is wrong is wrong. But MC isn't wrong either when he is ok doing the wrong thing. Hana could afford to being naive because it isn't her livelihood that is on the line ,and that she could claim the high moral ground as the bartender who isn't directly involved with wrong things in the club. It is going to be interesting to see how her character evolves as she becomes more involved with the club and therefore taking more active role in what's "wrong".

In other news, I found a few new bugs and typos while playing, so I might as well mention them here before I forget. Oh, and a couple trivial nitpicks just for fun.

... but Ian does: he's eager to turn the opportunity into a threesome with his BFF (and BTW, Rosalind's expression when she hears the news is perfect!). August is willing to preempt Kat... if you're on Hana's path.
Interesting, I missed Ian in this because I backed out of the conversation after Chuck said no. I'll probably take that option then instead of making Kath take care of it pro bono.

August wouldn't help me and I am on Hana's path so this is probably just score capped. I only got the 4 with by choosing the right option just before. Obviously interacting with Hana gives more chance to be buddy budy with here dad. E.g. during the concert but there I went to Jacob and Dalia(?) instead.

One thing I noted was that the latest update jumps dates. One moment it was 6/09 tuesday but after the sex scene with Felicia it is 6/11 thursday.

I very much much doubt Victoria will directly save the MC from the Club; she passed along her sense of virtue when he was young, now Kathleen will have the chance to show the MC an alternative approach. Victoria will doubtless make some small contributions from the sidelines, but ultimately it's up to the MC to pick his own path.

Yeah, according to seigram's guide, it requires August 6 or above. I think it's possible to get that without being on Hana's path, but it's unlikely anyone would.

Yeah, I've run into some glitches with the dates, too, but they're not very repeatable and I can't figure out what causes the problem.

I want to play this game, but after viewing the comments.I am not really sure lol. Its not a bad sure, but a very confused sure. Last time I played PC was in chapter 1 with the whole introductions. Now I read on the choosing of a character and how this fucks your morality. If Felicia turns out tobe the person, I really think she is. Its very concerning tbh.
