where can we dl this and have it open. It refuses to open on MAC once extracted. Is anyone having this issue? OR know a workaround?

Does anyone still read this thread? Why wont this open properly? It keeps opening than instantly closing. I am playing on the mac but a PC user verified the same issue. is there a real download (is this one dead) or a workaround?

Because iZArc thinks that ":" in the file names are directories, normally Winrar or some similar other programs changes ":" to "_" while extracting to prevent errors. Have fun playing.

Can you please walk me through this for MAC. MAC doesn't let you pick extraction. It just does it with their software. Isnt there a way the DEV can update so this works properly?

It does not run correctly as packaged.

1) Download the Ren'py SDK 7.0 for Mac
2) Drag the folder 'renpy-7.0.0-sdk' from the DMG to Desktop
3) Create a new folder inside the 'renpy-7.0.0-sdk' folder called KellysFamilyMIL (or anything)
4) Right-click your Kelly Family: Mother in law icon, and select "Show Package Contents"
5) Open Contents/Resources/autorun/ and drag the games folder to your KellysFamilyMIL folder
6) Clicked on the Renpy icon in the renpy-7.0.0-sdk' folder
7) You will see the Renpy SDK interface-you can select PROJECTS Kelly's Family, and Run Project and the game will run fine
OR
8) In the Renpy SDK Interface, select Force Recompile, and then Build Distributions-Mac x86
9) It will create a zip folder-unzip it, and you have a new working Mac version.

I have done this with several games now that were a) not packaged correctly b) had no Mac version
It seems like a lot of steps but it is actually quite quick (and easier than bugging the devs to release a Mac version)
