I do love the support! It means a lot to me.
Hi.
So, I started writing. There is a game idea in my head. So, I’m wondering if people out there would like to be part of the brain storming process and later down the road testing it.
Again, imma take it easy and I won’t be releasing anything anytime soon but I may start working on something. It doesn’t hurt to have people give their thoughts in general.

So, good news and bad news.
Let's start with the bad news.
Bad News:
I did indeed lose my progress and I actually lost a whole update that I was working on before my vanishing. it was like 50% done and now zero. Which is highly frustrating.
Good news:
There is a way to salvage this, sorta. It's complicated, basically, I take the released version on + my oldish copy (that I found in my Gdrive, that I had in another account Which is oldish), mix them together and make a development version that I can edit freely. (in theory)
It's messy. But, it's better than starting from scratch which if I did I feel like I'd be demotivated.
I don't want to give any false hope. I'd appreciate if people report bugs, I'm not planning on setting up a patch release schedule because I want to work on my time this time.
I'm not even sure where I'm going with the game and highly possible to cut down on the many maps I have to narrow the vision down. sorta have the main story down but I do love putting secondary content.
again, I don't want to give false hope because part of me wanted to start a new project but part of me is like, this deserves to finish and be polished.
Anyways, bug reports, comments, opinions, etc, are always welcomed. I hope I can show you guys something. Action is stronger than words, I say.

This is one of my favorite games of all time. Your penchant for narrative is extraordinarily enjoyable and I think that you are extremely talented. It is good to see you return after your hiatus and I hope to send you positive vibes and hopes for wholesome and kind things to happen to you. I personally hope to continue enjoying your work in any capacity in the future regardless of where your motivations inspire you to go and can't wait to see what's next. Every time I check posts from you I get excited to hear the news, and I'm sorry to hear that you've been experiencing such difficulties. Your above post about losing a lot of your work especially I can empathize would be CRUSHINGLY demotivating. It's admirable of you to soldier on regardless of such a rage-quitting worthy obstacle. Looking forward to what comes in the future, your work is extremely enjoyable, and I'm wishing you the best!

thank you very much for the kind words! You have no idea how much it means when I get support. It’s like a confirmation that I didn’t do this in regret I guess? I don’t know how to say it.
I appreciate you and everyone who is very kind and supportive with my indecisive self While dealing with issues lol.
but I’m also lucky to have a lot of positive feedback and support and that helps more than you know!
I tried shifting my focus on another part of the game (this game) where I wouldn’t have to rewrite the same thing again until I’m feeling it again.
all I got is pretty much an outline but life’s been busy.
I want to try and motivate myself to work on it. Like,the outline would focus on finishing the farm Area.
I wanted to give a dom and sub players to do something.
But, when I made this game, I kinda had the thought of making it more of a switch rather than two paths dom and sub.
but my gosh, I focused a lot on the sub side haha which is easier and most asked.
so, I’m still in limbo and thinking about what I want to do.
As usual I talk a lot.

I think what you had done so far with both Dom and sub was really interesting, since I'm switch I wouldn't mind if MC was also one, but truth be told I'd be lying if I said that it wouldn't be interesting to have some sort of revenge path against the girls should you be sub first and then switched to a Dom for the rest of the story. And a Dom path where you could overpower the girls would be great but given the initial setup I think that perhaps MC would need something else than her attitude to truly be a Dom, after all you can't stand up entirely to either Death or the Devil.

Hmm. It’s an interesting idea. You saying this gives me an idea where, if you do follow more dom side and gain power you can return and have you revenge. Which is something I had in mind when I started sorta. It’s a lot more coding.
you submit to NPC A then you gain power and return to NPCA and be like “hey!Remember me?”
I guess, this can work, as long as I indicate that you as a player actually submitted to her. In theory it works
As for death and Satan. Yeah, to me they are fun to write dialogue for and tease MC. I never had intentions of making them submissive at all.
Same with Ruby. Though my fav of the three is Death because I like to write their back and forth haha.
sadly, lately, I been writing down random ideas and even dialogues. But not for DP. Just random fresh idea that I have yet to decide how I want it.

Take your time, you just came back and you know the community won't mind waiting. Rushing things and then going in blind (burnout, lack of motivation, RL being a bitch) is what usually halts progress even if you do have ideas.
Self-brainstorming sessions can be very productive as long as you write down the random ideas that come to mind so you then have a wide array to choose from later. It's especially recommended if you have memory or focus issues (both are nightmares for every task).
Character personality is hellish to get right, even as a skilled writer. And otherworldly beings aren't immune to personality issues so you can use that to your advantage (that's also a common trope and a fetish on top when applied to fictional beings). You managed to make characters that stand out and all are unique; honestly, that's what matters. The fanbase usually ends up "perceiving" them in a way you didn't really expect (headcanon and shipping things; I'm not really good with those terms).
If you look at Touhou Project, it's almost entirely made by its fanbase if you skip the music and lore from books (as well as official ZUN references).
Also, you can brainstorm your fans for ideas (project, game engine or story development) to help them wait. You've got writers and developers in the mix too, that's the good thing. Make sure you remind some of your fans only a handful of ideas will make it through so they don't end up disappointed. (Have yet to see this happen with any of your fans I know of, but I've been AWOL for so long it might have changed.)
Stay safe, prioritize RL, and remember to make it fun for yourself so you can give it your all. If it's a chore or you're being overpressured, it isn't worth it.

Haha, this is fair. I do forget my ideas at times so I see the brightside into it. I think sometimes I'm indecisive so I write different things about well different things and I'm like, This can be a game! wait, a comic? do I want to program? do I want to render? Text-based? GAH ;p
Thank you, this means a lot, it's hard to make different characters feel like they aren't reused and I'm happy you think so. True, they can have personality issues and you are right, everyone sees them differently!

This is something I do and it helps. It's one of many reasons why I communicate with fans, other people have some cool ideas and it helps my creativity flow! so I don't mind when people want to discuss the game with me!

Are you launching it from .exe file? If yes try to download from different link, or extract using different archiver.

man, crazy is gone again?
On one hand, that's a bummer, as he's fun to talk to and is nice, and i'll miss him, but on the other hand, it's his right to do what he'd like, and if this kind of thing is overwhelming to him, he has no obligation whatsoever to stay, and i hope that whatever he's doing, he's happy and enjoying his life

SaliaCoel kind of took the mantle with FU0; just make sure you pick a female protagonist and disable the content you don't want to see. Week 4 normally is scheduled soon - that is, today or tomorrow (those Spartan-style deadlines never are a good thing but they make sense if Salia actually has the content ready in advance and just plans to release it little by little). It's in very early stages of development so time will tell. Crazy would've enjoyed that, but I don't really like talking in a way that makes it look like he's no longer with us.

I'm sad I only discovered this game after it has been abandoned. It was a real fun game to play.
The funny thing is dev changed his account name to "Deleted member" pretending to delete his account , any know why he do that?

How do I play the game, when I download it and open the file it just shows me sound effects and 1 other file, I can’t find where the actual game is
