So you got the .rpyc but not the .rpy file, I'd say download the patch again to see if you get the rpy file then put it in there.

Consider adding a setting to see all/most scenes, so that it's not needed to accept each one and the game flows a bit better for those who are into all kinds of stuff.

The back button in the journal needs to be bigger, it's hard to hit it sometimes.
Consider enabling up-front charging on Patreon. As it is, someone could see all the goodies/votes or grab new game versions for free and cancel right away.

I had the same problem. I think it might have been caused because I tried to boot the game before placing the patch, and afterwards it wouldn't work. With another game I once had a similar issue, and a way to brute-force a solution is to just download the game again and make sure the patch is placed before you get it runnig. I tried it now, and it worked fine this time.

It's not a bug. The story is intended to have incest, but Patreon would shut down the page if it did. The dev had no choice other than remove the incest, but since it's inherently part of the concept, the game basically doesn't really exist without adding the patch.
It's very backwards, but sadly with Patreon becoming more and more anal with content, it's to be expected. Also adding the patch isn't that hard at all, it's literally placing a file in a folder, that's all.
