I am having issues with the hook and rope quest in version .07, after informing the queen and buying a hook and returning to the temple I am unable to use the hook and rope. Any ideas?

same here, bought the rope and whatever interaction there must be simply doesn't trigger. this is fucking retarded.
just tried reloading and buying the rope in advance, well, the hook you'll also need is not available until you get to the temple. So unless there's some 500IQ solution to this, the game is plain bugged. Did anyone test this before release?
update: A temporary fix!
go to %game_folder%/game/maps and open the file desertMapSecondTemple.rpy. In there, on line 495 there will be a line:
'if QueenPoint9.condition == 1:'
Delete it and fix the indents so the next condition is on the same level, like this:
After that I was able to progress normally

yeah well then you'll be tasked to find a city in the north which is plain isn't fucking there. NPC's won't tell you anything, either. I snooped around the code some more and found fuck all, so I just reported all this to dev's Patreon and gonna wait for a fix

For anyone having the bug that makes them stuck at the "get rope and hook" part, I have uploaded a fix for that.
BEWARE!- this is only for version 0.07
Just copy and replace it into the Big Beyond folder (where your exe file is). To trigger the rest of the quest you have to talk to the smith again.
I'm really sorry about this bug, I'm trying my best as always to find them all beforehand. Don't know what else to say
As a side note - I'm not sure how people who are not patrons are playing the 0.07 version. I haven't uploaded it anywhere besides patreon since they should get to play it earlier then the public. On there I can fix things easier and more directly. I'm just curious since I would like to help people out and fix everything I can but I don't even know where it's all uploaded from. No to mention all types of versions might be out there.

The what? I'm still stuck at that part...
Also as a sidenote, showing what scenes are still not unlocked would be a nice feature, because apparently I missed an entire questline in Act 1 and I had no idea until I read about it here.
