That's not right either. I don't rate games based on the subject matter. Say example, I don't like NTR...would it be fair for me as a reviewer to downgrade the game based on the fact I don't like NTR? Obviously not. I just don't play those games. There are 2 audiences in any review. One audience is the author/dev. The other audience is the community. A good review serves both audiences. They're just balancing all the people giving 1-star ratings to anything they personally disagree with.
I almost never rate what I consider to be a substandard game early in the cycle unless the game has potential. Why? Because it can sink a dev before they really get started. This game had so many 5 star reviews based on the subject matter alone well before my review, so I left an honest review.
This game has a ton of potential. The premise is ridiculous, amusing, and I ended up laughing out loud various times throughout. The weak spot of this game is the gameplay and renders.
It's my hope that Doc can clean up the flaws in this game and I can amend my review. Do I expect a serious game? No. But with better renders, more choices that affect gameplay, and continuined humor; I'll happily amend my review.
