Is there a way to carry out the stuff in content library to smart library? After a certain point everything collapses all together and spend too much time on what I really try to find

The trees collapse when you save or something. You can use the forward and back buttons to reopen them.

I don't know anything about the 'smart content' tab though, never used it.

I want to move stuff from 1 to 2. The figures, poses and props that I have in my content library, I want them in the smart content library as well for to have an easier access to them.

I was able to find this method yet it doesn't carry out all the stuff in there. I'm sure someone at some point made something to solve this issue XD. Just wanna know how.

all i know is the smart content lilbrary uses a totally different system, it relies on the content management system and does some online communication for the index, I don't touch it because i want my daz library to be totally offline :sneaky:

Hi, guys. It's been over a week and I still can't find a resolution for my missing lashes. The lashes are missing somehow after loading about the model both Asha (the model I wish to render) and Victoria, both of which are G3F.

Helpful individuals have assisted me and I followed their instructions step by step from dropping files manually location-to-location to full simple copy/pasting everything to Library, still.

I need the lashes so when I export to blender, I can animate.

Edit 1: By the way, are we allowed to bump threads in these forums? I wish to bump my asset request page.

Missing lashes in Blender

View attachment 4361009
No wonder I cannot load the eyelashes. Every model I load on DAZ are missing eyelashes. When I export them to Blender, they are all missing eyelashes.

Help.

They are separate objects, if you export it as an obj, it should be there though.
It simply depends what options you select on the obj export:

If you include parented itll grab lashes (and any clothing). If filter isn't enabled, it'll grab anything in the scene. Make sure you're flipping off subd high resolution though.

Yup - as i mentioned if you dont check filter itll grab everything, though sometimes you dont want that if you have multiple figures loaded.
I have always saved them as a sub scene first, then exported from there. Thanks.

For now, I'd just export it as an OBJ instead of an FBX - then once you get that working you can come back and tool around with fbx- only reason i can see for that is if you had animations and such.

When I export as an obj, it does the whole scene.
Hey... So.. Get back to the future.. we are not living in the 80's anymore :ROFLMAO:
So joke aside. why use obj when there is fbx which is far superior and well supported in most 3D tools.
It's a far more modern format suited for the tasks done today in 3D

with fbx- only reason i can see for that is if you had animations and such.
What is: and such?
don't tell me you want to set up all these morphs your self manual again?
There are many reasons to use fbx over obj
you can export morphs with fbx. not sure how you do that with obj

Thanks but biggest apologies. Embarrassingly, I maybe in need to be spoonfed. I've been rummaging around google and youtube and cant find how to open exported objects from daz to blender though.

oh ofc not, if you want morphs you bring em with fbx. (the answer tho is i often use obj exports for tweaking meshes to merely update the base geometry, the full figure never comes back)

Are you trolling now, im not sure lol..?

in daz. select your female.. go to file -> export and save it some place on your pc.
open blender go to file -> import -> fbx or obj and open the path you just saved your file to

Not trolling, just a newbie. Followed your instructions and this happened. No notion what happened to the lighting.
