Thats what I say, but some people here have no interest on waiting and demand content that they get absolutely for free and those people are the ones responsable most of the times that devs abandon their proyects or lose interest in them, because all they get are messages of entitled people demanding faster, better and free content.
Yes, they "can" but they should wait and think for a moment if they should. because all those messages of entitled people demanding free content, just makes devs want to quit or lose interest on their projects.

You are absolutely right, she might have some circumstances that caused this delay, and if she said so in her Patreon, I'm 100% sure we will all understand. But the thing is, she continuously promise us for an update or a date for an update and keep breaking her promise, i think that's why people are angry here. If she was sick or had something that might cause a delay, then say so. But don't give us a date and don't deliver by it.
