I tend to analyze how Devs transition into incest (or any other taboo) and then imagine how likely that would succeed in a real life scenario. She and Cami were in the most recent preview the dev posted so you've got that to look forward to.
There isn't one no. I believe the scenes are all done and it's just writing and proof reading that's left.
Honestly I thought the dev took like 5 months to do huge content drops, and was a unpleasantly surprised when his update from 3-4 months in was basically "I'm now starting."
So no clue when the release will be.
I think you missread that update.
As of his last update two weeks ago.
He didn't say he just started doing the update, he said he just started doing the writing for the update after all the renders and animations were finished.
I posted this earlier for someone else who thought the same thing but here it is again.
There are many parts of an update of which the script is only one.
-Story boarding. What do I want to happen. How many scenes do I need. How will scenes play out and how are they connected to eachother.
-Posing assets in DAZ. Creating the scenes visuals. This is probably the longest task to finish most of the time. Animations alone are a HUGE time sink.
-Rendering the scenes. Taking the posed files and rendering them. Doing quality control as well.
With the renders done, writing the dialog for the scenes is much easier as you can put the renders behind the text you're writing. This is why he was waiting on Xirbeus to send them back before starting. I believe the only thing left to be rendered is the Cami scene he teased earlier.
-Scripting both renders and dialog into renpy.
-Proof reading the script file.
-Adding more or changing existing renders/dialog as needed.
-Internal bug testing.
-bug fixes
-Alpha release
-bug fixes
-Supporter release
-bug fixes
-Public release
-bug fixes
So yes, his day job slowed him down but he's been working this whole time on creating scenes and animations. Now it's down the writing the dialog before sending it off to be proofed.
