This game is one of the rare ones that are the closest to porn movie scenario with great models, which is huge plus in my book. But with that being said, because there are many hotspots and choices that lead to different scenes, especially now with lust meter in part 6 ch2, not being able to load directly to the scenes or fast skip like in ren'py, mostly because of the engine is fucking annoying. Yes, there is an option to roll back previous choice, but when the scene is over, you have to start from the beginning of the chapter to come back to the scene and see different outcome.

Still having problem running it. I downloaded both chapter 1 and the update, extracted to the same folder and ... nothing. Still hangs on "initializing". The only difference is that the hourglass disappeared (got normal arrow cursor). Even the "Exit" button in the corner is inactive.

For all those gentlemen and ladies having trouble with the incremental update of the game, I'm preparing the release "complete" of the game, containing all the files aligned to the last version.
I hope this will solve the problems.

In this release I dedicated much time to solve this kind of "feeelings" for my players.
That's why I created the "Skip to next option/hotspot" button. If you click on it you can safely skip all CG till the first one containing an option or hotspot. I thought this tool especially for those cases where you need to replay a step in order to discover all the contents.
And remember that if you need to replay a step you don't need to replay all the chapter; simply click the small button on the step box in the storyline details panel.

I had the same problem.
Possible Fix:
- Download and Extract Part 1 into a Folder
- Download and Extract Part 2 into a SEPARATE Folder
- Copy the Chapters Folder of Part 2 and Paste it into the Part 1 Folder, Overwriting the ch07 file and the ch07.manifest file
- Run the Part 1 Folder's .exe

That sort of works, as in it lets you play. BUT doing so does appear miss some of the features of the part 2 like the skip/rolling back stuff. Whether or not it affects content because of variable changes and other stuff as well I'm not 100% sure since it's been a few versions since I played, so I can't compare where part 1 ended vs where part 2 is ending.

Thanks! While I'm all for having incremental updates for smaller downloads and I strongly encourage it, something got a bit messed up with how the update download was setup. It was like some files got mixed and matched.

Ops... so it's not a problem of "Complete" or "Incremental" update.
Can you please upload a zip of the contents of the folder: C:\Users\<<your user name>>\AppData\LocalLow\LazingInTheHaze\Happy Marriage

It's working for me now with the complete version. Out of curiosity, did you already have like saved games and progress from before? When I was trying to use the previous part 1 with part 2 dropped into it, I was running fresh and clean. I had done a complete windows reinstall since I played last. Perhaps it's hanging up on trying to find previous save/progress data that isn't there? Since I did the did the kind of work around of just copying the chapter 7 stuff and played a bit and now have save/progress data, perhaps that's why it's working for me now.
