That's basically her ending in the book(post-fight i mean, she gets married, becomes a housewife, starts a family and she is happy)

Let's reflect on it: Who are the main heroes? The hobbits, the chilliest guys in their world. They don't care about politics, they enjoy having several meals a day, to have parties/celebrations, and some gardening on the side. Who are the depressed ones? People in positions of power, or the bad guys(that i believe, they represent the ultimate despair, the suicide-kind of depression)

not everyone has a flat predictable personality...and Rae is probably chaotic neutral: it simply happens that MC and Rae has something in common(leave the house in the rift) and their relationship started from that, and developed into something more romantic than just mere business.

So, I just went into the scene gallery, to Lyriel's last dream sequence, where you have the option of being gentle or being rough.
The rough option ends abruptly, and the dream is over.
Seems it was changed at some point. For reasons.

Opened up the code, and I know how to modify it to partially revert the change. But, I don't have the original dialogue, so really just dropping the original script in would work best (after first checking if any other updates have been made to it that need to be merged in.)
Anyone have the "lyriel_10_training_night_scripts.rpy" from a version between 0.4.3 (I think is when it was added) and whenever it was changed (not specified in the changelog as far as I can tell)?

(I searched this thread and couldn't find this mentioned before, so maybe it was already posted.)

I absolutely love the game. The story is interesting, the characters and quirky but not over the top, the interactions are believable and the sex scenes are awesome.

Does anyone know of a game like this one? Also story focused and well written with good sex scenes?

I really like this VN / game. It is alluring to me that the MC is IMO actually falling in love with the succubus and from what I read she is also with him. Its nice to bang the shit outa Lyriel in the MC's room in the mornings and I feel she is starting to also have feelings for the MC, like after the scene in the bathroom with her in her room, but there not as pronounced as with Azraesha. I like the overall flow or the progression of the relationships. But for me its all about Azaesha. I really hope that she can go back with the MC to his world and live out her life with him. (Yes I am a sucker for the happy endings)

Well, for me i see all the girls come in the mc world in the end.
first for all the house, it choose girls with a patern, not really attach to their world due to certain past circumstance. And give her some thing she need for trying to keep them all. Yep for me is not just a spell, the house is a part of the mc.

Secondly the mc, in start you see he is alone seek for love and sex, dreaming of all girls he can see, then the house give him love and sex with Azraesha, Naomi, Caitlin, Lyriel, Yona and the dwarf i don t know the name yet... the same number of this old familly. (when i think he was the most happy).

Azraesha, She is the only one you don t know about the nearly past when she come, but we could hunderstand she was on the same way than the mc, bored from her life, seek for some one with whom she would feel need and love. then she come and have the mc (a untrained powerfull magi who really need her and love her).

Naomi, the adventurer, except her crew she not miss her world, and i feel she sometime bored of her live, she tell you implicitly in the dream, some time it s good to stay somewhere it s calm. And the house give her a new crew, alcool and a new adventure.

Caitlin, it's a little harder for her because i think it will come in the futur, she have do a very bad mistake, high people will not let his (what she will do next ?) and except her friends, she seem very unconfortable with her world and i think it will become more worse. The house give her an unlimited knowledge and the open teacher she need.

Lyriel, the banned antisocial, we know well she don t like her world... the house give her what she need to feel usefull (well with dirt why not...) and some real friends.

Yona, well the same, no doubt everything that was important to her died in her world, she is thirsty for revenge. but the story is not sufficiently advanced to tell if the house give her a way to do, or to think for what is good for her... to make new friends.

Then to sum up, any of her have a real reason to really want to go back in her world for me (except some friends, but the mc is still an ether walker then...). I really see the mc keep them all.

I hadn't really thought abt the ending too much. Goofed off once thinking the MC and Rae could go on adventures, then when they needed help they could go to wherever the other girls ended up and get support. For example they could go to Cait's library/lab for her help or to Naomi's 'home' if they needed an army.

As you mentioned, we can't guess anything about Yona as there hasn't been much story with her and the new Dwarf may end up the same, more of a side/fill character without much story. We don't know yet.

Correct me if I'm wrong (I usually am, lol)
but I don't even notice any of the characters going out of their way, too much, to form a relationship with the MC. He has to goto them and put forth most of the effort.

All except Rae. Since she is written as the strongest character out of the ladies, and therefore has more time with the MC, she also seems to be the only one with strong feelings/love for the MC and actually seeks out the MC for a relationship/activities...

If the story was true, then Caitlin has already been told she can go back to her planet. There isn't anything keeping Naomi away in the sense that she Can go back and Can get another ship and so forth.

So, it never really occurred to me that it would end up any way other than the MC and Rae riding off into the sunset together. lol

Unless it just ends w them all still in the house which seems like would be a letdown.

I numbered your points so you know to what i'm answering to

1° which is why most of us, (in previous pages) are asking for more Yona content

2° Define "going out of their way". From what i've understood, Rae is the only one who knows about planes-walking(if you like Magic) or in this case, Etherwalking, which are fancy ways to say "teleporting from a world to another through magic powers". Naomi is a pirate, unless it's about boats, ships, or cool places to visit, she is pretty ignorant on magic. Caitlyn is a magic student(imagine Harry Potter, same thing) which means that she knows something but not enough to teach MC something useful. Lyriel is a...rogue/ranger or a maid in a inn which means no knowledge in magic. Yona is the classic buff orc who fights a lot, also no magic knowledge here. Point is: Rae is the only one who can guide MC, they bonded over spending time together for a common cause: Leaving the house.

3° See point 2. Also, she(Rae ofc) is a succubus, she is social(possibly even more than humans) because it's in her nature. Moreover, she worked as a world-traveller, like going places, talking to people, sharing infos about stuff.

4° Caitlyn may want to go back to her world(bc friends and learning more about magic), Naomi(so far) ultimately would leave, because she is a pirate, she is in love with adventures. Lyriel may want to go back to the inn(to her family and friends). Yona...we don't know enough about her, but she considers herself one of MC's wives, for now...she has very traditional ideas the classic "Man to work, women in the kitchens"(or something between these lines). Rae is showed to not like her job, or not being satisfied with it, even though she has powers, privileges, a decent rank in her society. So she is considering to leave everything, even to become mortal, just to find happiness(and we're to believe that she is happy living the wife-life with MC, in MC's modern world)

5° ideal ending?(in my opinion) The house will be connected to every world, and occasionally(or more often depending on the character) the characters will go there to stay together. A random example from the top of my head, a door of the house takes you to Naomi's captain's room on her ship, or her room in the house becomes the captain room, like you exit Naomi's room and you're on the deck of the boat....

well, at start we see a black sphere, then i think it was the experiment that tore off a piece the ether of mc realm and throw them in all ways in the rift (that why he can t come back when he try, no more ether near laboratory), the mc just in the trajectory of one of them (cern and the micro black hole...?) this part absorbe our mc in and continu this way until it stop somewhere in the rift. then it aggregates arournd the mc who become the "core" of the realm "house". that s why i say the house is a part of the mc and not a spell...

Well, as i heard, the dwarf be the last caracter but the story is not finish. in harem game there are main and secondly caracters, in this game main live in house and secondary out. then i think we will have a full story at least for the mains caracters.

Well, more or less, don't confuse gameplay with story, yep girl not come (well almost), but girls hit the mc... all the time, but you have to consider her temper too... example naomi extroverted hit the mc when she watch movie... "are you like the big girls", mc, "you want i come in your dream ? MMMmm maybe.", or when she cooking with rae..., etc... caitlin is shy but when she begin to open she come in your room for training really often... etc... all the girls seduce the mc in her ways, after some time...
Except for rae because as i said i think she need the mc love (i think this is why the house choose her) and looks a lot like him, it s maybe why people think rae is the first... (it s my number one too by the way...)

Yep, but when serena say it, you understand that there was resistance, with the first "accident" with the bird cage you understand it will not be simple... I think it s not because of her she can come again, but the academy is more interest in the mc (i think they want to put the mc in the bird cage to see if they could keep him, no power in it normaly...), you have meet two magi of them, once has a drunk man (director ?) when naomi learn ether walk control and the other who ask if you are an illusionist. And serena already meet you, but she is in the council, not the academy (and i think she will not use rae this way, rae love the mc, serena know this...). they have no choice, the only link with mc is caitlin. But as i say i think thing will get worse for her.

Well, i see an harem game then i think it will have an harem end... An all happy big familly end... but i could be wrong too.

i feel that! just bought a new computer recently and had to start from scratch... took me a little while. even skipping most of the dialogue i was familiar with and only watching my fav scenes and the new stuff from a few updates back, still took me a good bit of time to catch up.

on one side, it's good because it means the game has a lot of content...

on the other, sometimes re-play everything feels like a chore(which is why games that don't have automatic backup saves like RPGM-games or most of Unity-games, are a massive no for me)
