Gotta say I agree, but also Naomi is quite literally the most infuriating character to deal with. Also every interaction with her makes me feel like the MC is spineless.

When I first saw Naomi, I thought she would be like Noel from Oppai Odyssey. Turns out her face isn't that attractive and the personality even less so.

Naomi had potential. Still does, I reckon, but the Dev lingered forever in the shitter era and now nobody wants to give her the time of day. I'm starting to doubt if a non-shitter era for Naomi is ever coming.

I suspect Naomi's story is blocked by Rae and/or Yona. We've seen this kind of blocking before. There are good lore reasons why Yona and/or Caitlin could be instrumental; similarly, Rae may factor in for information/intelligence, and potentially Blair (mostly for stealing something). At the moment, I can't see Lyriel being all that useful for Naomi's questline, but that could change.
The main story quests tend to be the least messy in terms of sequence breaks, so it'd make no sense for them to start breaking them now. The further to the side the sidequest is, the more it tends to break everything. I'm fairly sure the devs are aware of the issue, but sidequests will probably remain broken for a while, as they may be planning other things which could break them.
The other thing I've noticed is that they tend to push one storyline at a time, and I'd much rather Naomi have something big go off next rather than any more of what we've seen for a while.

That's what I'm talking about though. Naomi started as a shitter, which is a good place to start a character. It gave her plenty of room to grow as a person and have an interesting arc. Nobody would've given a fuck about Todoroki's daddy issues if he hadn't started off as a frigid cockhead and then developed into a friend while his backstory was parcelled out for context.
The difference here is that Todoroki didn't linger in his asshole stage for very long. He was introduced as an ice king who never spoke, then when the tournement arc rolled around they showed he was a dick, but then they concluded it by initiating his de-ass-ification.
Naomi, contrarily, has been a cuntasaurus rex for the majority of the game. The idea of having her change is clearly the goal here, but we're sitting around waiting for it for ages and that's letting it sink in. Nobody would've liked Todoroki if he'd been the kind of asshole he was at the start of the Sports Festival all the way up past Gentle Villain and them, and that's kinda what's happening with Naomi.
To use another example, if you're not an anime guy, Han Solo from Star Wars is introduced as a sleazy cockhead too. He has an even quicker turn-around to his assholishness though as his arc more focuses on how sleazy he is. But one of the first things he does on screen is shoot a motherfucker in a seedy bar.
There are ways to write assholes that make them interesting assholes. Gendo Ikari is an interesting asshole. Walter White is an interesting asshole. Unfortunately, Naomi is not, and I believe the reason she's not an interesting asshole is because she's waited too long to start becoming not an asshole (and she's a very down-to-earth asshole, particularly to a character we DO like, so it's immensely frustrating because we know a Naomi IRL and now she's picking on our waifu, thus why the Walter White Villain Protagonist treatment doesn't work either.)

I was reading back a few pages to see what I'd missed, and apparently the heist/maze is a problem for some people. I actually mapped this out for someone who was really struggling, so I spent a bit of time, cleaned it up, and used some Kenney (CC0) tiles to lay out the map so it's a bit easier to see (and so it's not a janky GIF).
I don't know what the value of stars is beyond getting more time in the maze, but the maze has multiple dream events locked behind it, so I figured I'd post the entire thing out.

The dev has said that because animations apparently take so much time/effort, it doesn't make sense for them to waste it on anything but the broadest, most vanilla sexual acts. They used Lyriel's armpit bathroom scene as an example of the kind of scene we'll never get again, which IMO hardly the height of kinkiness to begin with. could be im too much of a coombrain tho
Maybe im alone, but i would way rather have more unique scenes made up of lots of still images (which would be way less effort) than more generic sex animations. It's still crazy to me how vanilla sex with the shape-shifting succubus always ends up being.

How do you advance Lyriel's Story ch. 24? I see a popup saying her story advances when you
but it doesn't really feel like the 'correct' way to advance the plotline, and also not something I particularly want to do to her.
Am I missing something? Her other current quests are Manga club ch 2 and Useful Elf ch 5 but neither of those seem to be advancing either.
EDIT: Chapter 24 completed after another Evening event. I think my Evening events are just too crowded to gauge progress at this point xD

If that's what the quest log says, then that's what you need to do to advance her story. Not wanting to do that might just be a personal preference for you or something, but in case morality is the question: keep in mind that Lyriel is a typical tsundere. She protests a lot but really does want intimacy with the MC. For example, when she eventually gets intimate with the MC (as all LIs do), she puts up only very mild, obligatory objections — she protests only slightly, and only because it's "proper" in her mind. But she'll freely let the MC make love to her, loves to have him kiss her, and even asks for intimacy if it's been some time since their last intimate moments.
But if it's just a preference thing, just do it the one time and it's not required thereafter. (It's a repeatable scene, but you don't need to do it over and over in the future.)

Nah, I don't remember what was in the quest log but it was something non-specific. Choosing the option I SPOILER'ed brought -3 Intimacy and just made her upset... like, actually upset. I needed to wait for another scene that occurred in the Evening/Night event chains to make the scene more natural, and led to a regular scene before the daily one.
The real problem was that this event should have played sooner, but where I am in everyone's quests atm, I had like... 15 or more events lined up in the Evening/Night category that many are backlogged, so when someone says they'll "Come see me tonight" or similar, it doesn't happen for a couple days at least... so it's difficult for me, as a player, to know if I'm supposed to do something, or if it's just backlogged.
It really feels like the majority of my events are weighted towards Evening atm, which is a small complaint really, but my Mornings are currently relegated to reviewing repeat scenes, scavenging the fridge/wardrobe/library or using Daydream in the Backyard/having a Shower in the upstairs bathroom just to pass the time. Love all the attention, but it still feels a bit odd. xD
Glad that MC learned to do Daytime Etherwalks, or it'd be even worse! lmao
Just curious but there seems to be no Android version. I understand if the game is not 100% completed yet. Keep up the good work
