So Neverlucky has a new game out that I did not know about? Scandalous. I had to put Milfy City to the side after the first time with Caroline because I was more interested in that.

Turns out that, as somebody else mentioned, Jenny found a time machine to transport herself to medieval times and she brought modern day panties along for the ride. I guess you gotta be hip to be squire. ;)

Since I've started with version 0.4 there already was a decent amount of content to read through. In Triangle it was refreshing to get through completely drama free, however, the medieval ages were definitely not known for a lack of drama. This situation with the new king is a good setup for that, and we have that little diplomacy issue strewn in. I am a bit puzzled though by the usage of modern words - this has been discussed before so I won't get into it in detail. Nobody expects the game to be in Middle English, but a bit more formal language may be appropriate for a Lord's court. Speaking of, the Lord and Lady are a tad too benevolent for their times. The Lady of The House teaching her servant to swim? Yeah right. Done of course for story reasons and to see them naked, although that was definitely not a common occurrence during those times.

Speaking of naked, Lady Catherine is gorgeous, Jenny and Lydia both adorable. Once again, Neverlucky used believable body types for all protagonists. (Did I see a glimpse of Little Princess Chloe in that village?)

Finally, by reading through the thread I learned that this version shared here lacks scenes from the extended version? Guess I will have to throw a one-time fee of twenty bucks to Patreon to get the full experience. Unless we have one high tier Patron sharing in the future.

That did seem a bit much I know in some cases the Lady of the house did have a more special handmaiden and they would have some sort of bond with one another, but I guess we ain't going in for accuracy with this game especially the girls underwear I think if women had underwear like that in medieval times there would be that sound of relief from every woman  despite the inaccuracies its still a nice game to play.

I'm new in this thread and surprise was very nice with the beginning of this game. I like especially how Neverlucky manages all characters' different states of mind. Each has his own sensitivity, his own wording and of course the girls are absolutely gorgeous. Something particularly well rendered is the facial expressions with Alice and Lydia especially. I love it and it increases a lot the realism in dialogues.
In the other hand, I agree with other above comments about wrong accuracy of girls' underwears, but who cares ? The pleasure is there for us and it's a game, not an historical documentary on BBC about Middle Ages, so I'm OK with that.

In the meantime, waiting having a future release of Knight's Tale, I will try another game from Neverlucky: Triangle to see if I can feel in that one the same "Developer's touch" in a quite different story that I liked in this one.

Anyway, keep going this way, it's very promising and who knows, maybe one day I will become one of his Patrons to support much more his talents !

Damn first choice of the game that I am unsure what to pick... I chose to give the land for free in exchange for letting the other guy use it for free for 5 years... hopefully it doesnt come back to bite me...
Hey, I did same choice which seemed most accurate with Lord's thinking and justice values. Wait and see if we were right. I kept a save file at that screen in case of ...

If you like what you found here, I expect you'll be very happy with Triangle. It easily ranks in my top 5 completed games from this site.

I had been meaning to look at this game, and have gotten around to it. Kind of feeling like a kinetic novel to me, but the story is fun to read. I look forward to more.

Just finished Triangle from same Developer after a successful beginning in Knight's Tale: absolutely captivating in my opinion. Very progressive and addicting story concerning nice young blonde Jenny starting living with an older couple. I loved the way relations between 3 characters change in a few weeks. Sex scenes well rendered as well and quite realistic to compare in real life. I would be the luckiest man in the world if something similar happened to me :ROFLMAO:, one day who knows ?

If previous story with "only" 2 main female characters in Triangle has a similar development in Knight's Tale with 3 main female characters, it will be very promising and will offer us a much larger choice of sex combinations and surprises in dialogues and gameplay. I'm very impressed by the talents and the way Developer's increases step by step suspense to offer us a lot of stuning events. Keep going this way Neverlucky, it's perfect for me. :p

The medieval period is not my favorite but since I liked Triangle so much, I recently started playing this game. I haven't progressed very much yet (the damn job :) ). So far I like it. I was surprised to see the wife behaving 'normally' and mostly as an equal, I was expecting her to call you 'lord' like the others do and be more subservient. Not a complaint, it just seems my impression of how things worked back then was partially incorrect. But even if there really are historically-inaccurate elements in the game, it doesn't really matter that much. Having an entertaining game is the most important thing.
I'm looking forward to the next release, especially since I'll be on vacation soon :D

Another update, another comment.
Triangle was as good as A knight's tale is bad. I would be glad if Neverluckystudios read this topic and saw what people don't like in his game.
Last time I wrote about underwear and as I see almost every second message in last few pages points at that underwear. So now I say about other things.
Medieval. Needless to say a great share of immersion based on that. And what do we see? MC is a baron, the lowest noble rank, just a man with his castle and a piece of land. His senior is not a king, usually count or duke. As my history teacher in last millenia like to say: a vassal of my vassal is not my vassal. But nevertheless king summons not_his noble, MC, to the capital to confirm his loyalty vows. WTF? OK, let it be really poor kingdom that low on nobility and there's no one in line between baron and king. Let it be. Then MC aquire a squire. A girl squire. And MC's wife is an equal to him. In medieval times. WTF? OK, let it be medieval without christianity but with feminine religion that equals man and woman. Let it be. But why women can serve in mililtary is still a question. At least, it's unhealthy for society. And medieval society was much healthier than any modern society. Then, upon returning home MC asks his wife's maid to share her clothes with squire. Maid, commoner, poor girl (really poor, her salary was almost non existent 'cause she lived in master's home and eat on master's kitchen and wear what master's wife/daughters gives her) has a few dresses, a few complects of nighwear, for fuck's sake, she even have more than one underwear and not undershirt (or how it was called, I don't know exact English word) but real lingerie. Her wardrobe costs something about a half of village.
That was just the most inadequate things I see, that break all immersion and makes you question what are you reading.
Conflict (or drama). In Triangle there was a conflict, mostly inside MC's head but still. He has doubts and fears, he wants to achieve something. In this game we see only vanilla "everything is good". MC already makes love with his wife (totally unsurprising), we know that he will have the opportunity to fuck his squire and his wife's maid, maybe he'll make babies with all of them. No conflict, no drama, no doubts, no obstacles, nada. And it's really boring. It's like watching default porn movie, we know beforehand that there will be sex, only question is where and with whom. I'd even say that game has no story because story has plot, plot can have its twists and we don't know how the story ends. We can suppose but we don't know for sure. There's no such thing in A knight's tale.
The thing I don't understand is why a good dev that already made a great game, Triangle, is making something that bad now. And, to be objective, game is not totally bad. Characters are great, renders are wonderful (close up faces are really something, I love visual part of the game) the only thing missing is story part.

As for your criticisms on the game's historical accuracy, at the beginning it says it takes place in medieval times of a fictional world.

Maybe that hand wave isn't good enough for you, but it's there. So it isn't exactly our earth in medieval times. So he can make these discrepancies as he pleases. And to be honest, I'm ok with that. It's nice to have that medieval "veneer" in a game without it being tied down by all the details of how it should have played out based on history.

Not even AAA games or movies are historically accurate, this being fiction fantasy at least has an excuse, dev can throw here an unicorn if he wants, no problem.

Can you please tell me where I said even a word about historical accuracy? When writer (of book/comic book/screenplay of any kind/texts in a computer game) creates a fictional medieval world he usually tries to make his fiction believable. And he asks himself "Why are things in my fictional world are exactly this and not any other way?" Then answers. If the only answer he can give himself "Because I want it that way" then his creation is on a level of schoolboy/girl fan fiction. And if you never read such things, believe me, it's unreadable. My criticism points not on historical accuracy (who cares about that in fictional world?) but on the lack of logic. Honestly I don't care about nobility system, women rights and wealth of commoners when it's explained. The only thing player know - it's medieval fictional world. But player don't see much medieval in that. Modern underwear, modern speech, modern society - just horses instead of cars and swords instead of guns.
No one forbids dev from using common sense. No one forces dev to behave like MC of this game. Who rides through his own land but don't know is there any inn nearby, who rides his familiar horse but cannot calculate time for his way back to castle. And who tries to sell his own land to village when he perfectly realises that if village can buy his land then they become independent and not in any way under his rule. Just logic and common sense, let history aside.
