Problem is, like with My New Family, people seem to go to every game expecting it to be a some hard hitting game with infernal choices. Thing is devs have their specific way of telling stories (VNs). Philly has the somewhat dark, murky setting with impactful choices, PinkCakes has annoyingly realistic stories with choices that make my head spin (I personally don't like his games simply because if I wanted realistic stories I would go back to real life. That is not to say these are bad games, just not for me), ICSTOR has sexy scenes with some random ass story to connect them and then there is Neverlucky and K7 who seem to specialize in sweet, feel-good stories. If, as a reader/player, you can accept that, both this game and Triangle are fantastic stories, that make me feel rather good about things.

Like I said in My New Family's thread, it's like comparing Borderlands 3 and Ori with the same checklist. They are both fantastic games but cannot be seen through the same lens. I personally am glad devs like Neverlucky and K7 are around, telling their brand of stories, since in all honesty with the sheer nnumber of corruption/forced sex games, it's hard for me to find games I enjoy. I really wish I could support these two, but finance is tough right now.

Anyways, point is, I wish Neverlucky the best and hope he keeps making games and telling stories he enjoys and not get bothered by negative reviews as there will always people like me, who enjoy these kinds of games/stories.

I completely agree with all this and I join you in wishing Neverlucky the best.

What I don't completely understand is why complain about an adult game, for me it is exactly as complaining about the satellite channels, there are many so you can choose whichever you like, if you don't like vanilla games like this, just go a pick a dark one, what's the problem? I don't go writing trash for a game I don't like, I do write constructive criticism for a game I actually like and expect it to be better, I see no point in trashing a dev or game just because I don't like the genre, it really makes a lot of no-sense to me ... but, we have to live with it, now, don't we?
Well, again, for Neverlucky, thank you very much for creating such wonderful and refreshing games, best of luck and success, keep going. I really hope I could contribute more.

The OP says V0.9 "Special Edition", but it is the normal edition, obviously the code is in the scripts, but the images are missing, it remains to wait for some hero who will do us the favor of uploading the versions with the images

Both triangle and this game are shit. There is no theme or conflict or any pull. From day one it is snuggle/ sex with anyone/ no consequence to any actions. Of course it will be boring as hell as there is excitement of any kind. The 3 girls are basically the same person with names swapped, only defining trait of them is their god like adoration of the MC. lol.

As mentioned above, the images in the folder are the normal knight tale and do not have the "special edition" images. However, the game code is the special edition, and therefore you will have images missing from the game but the story will play out.

Ah that would explain the error I was getting, the previous version had one such scene at the very end right? (as loading my older save indeed loads into an "image not found" blackscreen).

We'll have to wait and see whether this gets updated. But all in all, it's thanks to the developer and also thanks to the community for the share regardless.

The problem is that conflict only works if there is a chance of losing something, if there are stakes.

We know there will never be NTR, we know he will never lose any of the women and we know it will all end happily ... conflict would just be predictable filler taking attention and time away from what the rest of us are here to see and that's 3 hot women get fucked.

I'd add Emma too, she cooks.

Conflict wouldn't add anything, it would take away from the main thread of the game.

I've got no doubts a bit of drama may occur at some point with the king but we still have no tension as we still know we aren't going to lose anything.

Much like the drama in Triangle that lasted all of 5 minutes then the 2 girls started fucking each other too, problem solved.

There are plenty of drama filled games and a global pandemic full of drama to rock your socks off too.

Personally I love that feel good stories exist. There are, what, 3 or 4 good ones and the rest are either basic or over dramatised to the point of parody.

With all the shit going on and even without the global nonsense, just general crap days, it's nice to have a few happy tales to relax too and indulge in a bit of escapism every now and then.

I don't mind a feel good story with a happy ending, but there still needs to be a story. I still like this dev and this VN, but it needs to actually go somewhere. If I just wanted to see hot women getting fucked, I'd just go to pornhub or something. I download these VNs because I am interested in a story. I've been hoping to see the MC in action against the evil king or righting some wrongs. I can forgive the overly modern dialogue and all that, but give me something more than sex scenes and praise of the MC. It started off looking like there would be more substance, but so far, there hasn't been much.

Never quite agreed with these types of comments. Even if one thinks a VN doesn't have a lot of interesting story and it's mainly just sex scenes, I still don't think most porn videos are the right substitute for what the games could give.

My two cents: It is nice to have vanilla ice cream for a change. I love spicy Indian curry, mutton biryani, and barbecued ribs slathered in hot gravy, but I also like dessert. Something light and sweet. This is dessert.

It's a nice game and as others said, i like a feel good story without much drama once in a while.
But it really lacks story development...too much slice of life, if u play just a update it's okay, but if u play from the begining it gets boring/repetitive really fast.
And the prerequisite for story development are there, we have a new king, unhappiness with new king, there seems something going on with mc's master/old friend
