Does anything happen yet or is it still a fairytale romance game. I need a war or bandits to kill or something to balance the sweetness.

There are still the possibilities for drama with King Douche and his loyal servant, Lord Asshat, but nothing has come of any of that.
(This is not in any way a criticism of the game. Love me my love and rainbows.)

I fixed it!
ps: Like you mentioned, you can also use the 0.12 to 0.13S file to upgrade the normal 0.13 to the 0.13S version
The only downside is a bigger file size to download. Just in case I ever make the same mistake again.

Is probably what most people should use.
As the game version posted on the OP earlier never had any of the v0.12SE images in it.
Or just re-download the updated version posted on the OP.

How to play on macOS:
- Download & extract
You must be registered to see the links(DMG file)
- Open RenPy app
- Click preferences on bottom right of window
- Set projects directory(I recommend creating&setting to "documents/renpy_games" folder)
- Download and extract Windows game to RenPy projects folder
- Open Renpy and select game from projects list
- Click "Launch game"

All the upgrade packs contain all the special renders from all previous versions, so if you downloaded the base 0.13 version you only need to download the 0.13->0.13S pack.
The 0.12->0.13S is just for the people who played version 0.12 but wanted to wait until the special version was released to play 0.13.
Hmmm is there actually anything new in the SE version for 0.13?
Because when using the "skip seen" (ctrl) button, it doesnt stop for anything in 0.13.
