I thought a lot when picking the right amount of girls. I couldn't throw in a boatload because I wouldn't be able to get to all of them on a regular basis. And I don't think I could manage a giant harem. Not with my skills technically or as a writer. My computer wouldn't be able to handle it either.

The main five girls will always be the main five. They'll always get at least a little bit of time. The other girls were actually designed for my supporters to voice their opinion on. I actually just posted about it on Patreon. I can see how it'll take more time to make more 'content' or appearances for the more popular side characters but that's the way I'm intending it if that's what the people want. Star Wars is about Luke and Han and Vader but if people really like a side character like Boba Fett, he should get more time, IMO. I don't mind doing the same for AMFA. I wouldn't be doing it for every character, just the ones everybody really, really likes, if there's anybody that's super popular. If the other characters aren't popular, it'll be easy to leave them on the sidelines.

The story won't be changed though. I wrote the story in a way that it makes sense even if you don't romance a single LI. I know the girls should probably be the most important thing in a porn game but I wanted a story for any potential romance to be built on.

I intend for the story to be fun. It'll be serious when it needs to be but it's going in a bunch of different directions in terms of tone. It'll be a little clearer in Episode 4.

Wish there was a guide or something to say what's the best option for each girl as far a the 3 choices knight, joke, or flirt. I have played with all three options with the girls, but it doesn't seem to matter much yet. I guess what I'm saying is do these options really effect anything or will they in a future update.

There aren't any flags hidden in the three-colored dialogue choices and I don't really plan on it. The dialogue choices were designed for a few reasons, as I've mentioned before. The main reason is that I want you to put yourself in the MC's shoes. Often times in VNs, we're forced to say things in regards to relationships that we would never say. Maybe you want to flirt with a girl. Maybe you don't. I'll leave that up to you.

The reason the stats appear only at the end of the episode is to tell you where you're leaning. It's not supposed to be a warning or influence you in a different direction. So, you should be thinking "Oh, I've been flirting with Kate a lot." You shouldn't be thinking "Oh, I've been flirting with Kate a lot, I'd better her start telling her more jokes." It's a scoreboard more than anything else.

There will be differences in how the girls look at you depending on how you lean later on in the game, but you'll never be gated or miss 'content' for being too flirty or too funny. For one, I don't want to penalize someone for picking the choice they want. And two, it just doesn't make sense since the dialogues won't completely define your relationship and the story.

So, the dialogue choices matter for that variance. But it won't have a major impact compared to bigger decisions. I put a bunch of differences in the dialogue so that people could spend more time reading it and less time looking at a PDF in another window, trying to make the right choices. This is just for the dialogue system with three-colored choices. More consequential decisions should be more obvious, like deciding whether or not to have sex with someone.

Don't look at dialogue between trying to decide between right and wrong choices. Look at it as deciding what the best choice is.

I won't drag things on for the sake of dragging things on. I want to have a lot of fun with the story, and that involves a lot of things happening. I'm looking at everything in the big picture sense (saving Billy's, graduating, relationships with the girls) and the small picture, too (all of the little things that add up to the big picture). It may feel like it might be dragging on for some with everything I have planned, but it's not intentional.

For what I have planned and want to do, we're still early in the story. New characters will be introduced in Episode 4.

I don't have a list of fetishes planned but off the top of my head, I can't think of anything too wild I want to do. That can change, of course. If there's something specific you want to avoid, I might be able to give you a better answer.

I'll do my best to make sure everything is optional. So, let's say you want to have sex with Erika. You'll still have to go through all the positions and get a BJ. All of the standard stuff. But if she offers you a footjob (which I don't consider vanilla but some may), you'll be able to turn that down if you're not into it but still do everything else with her.

Another way of looking at your options would be:

1. No romance at all with the girl
2. A regular sexual romance with the girl
3. a regular sexual romance with the girl + kinks

In the Jordan scene, going down on her was optional because I know some might not be into it. But everything else wasn't with regards to the sex. I'd like to try and do that with every scene if I can. Since everybody can disagree on what is and isn't a fetish, I can't make every single thing optional. But I'm aware not everybody likes everything, even if they like the girl, so I'll do my best.

I'm personally quite vanilla and unlike many, I don't usually enjoy threesomes or group sex or girl-on-girl action. But hey, they are just personal tastes and it is good to know that, for now, they will be optional.

Really liked the 3 episodes so far. Your concept ideas as of now and the plans for the continuation of this VN are good.
Of course, not every bit of the progression of the story or character was just fine for me - but nevertheless I enjoyed!

I don't need another pseudo-VN with socalled characters who are only there to have sexual content.
I don't want another pseudo-plot where all events and dialogues automatically lead into sex / kinks.
I don't care about if this is "vanilla" or not - it's the story and its characters that count.

...So far you don't include any "ugly" kinks like rape, coercion, heavy bsdm, ntr etc.
For me your VN is exactly right and you are "brave" to dare to make some difference to the majority of excisting stuff here.
Just do this one your way and it will be convincing

Have yet to play chapter 3 but I want to say that your decision has already made for some excellent writing. I LOL'ed hard at most of the the dialogue especially when you choose the green and pink options with Vanessa. She's my favourite character just because of the hilarious banter between the MC and her.

Thanks. Vanessa only has a short sequence in Episode 3 but will appear more in Episode 4. I want to have fun with her story and it will be more obvious where it's going after Episode 4.

This game is a blast.
I came into this game expecting to hate Vanessa from all the comments in this thread but I have the most fun being a smartass towards her plus the fact that shes a secret sweetheart makes her a star in my books.
I love making my Emcee a thirsty flirt with riley.
The girl next door with a million jobs, the tomboy and the milf do nothing for me, but I do get their purposes in the story.

Overall a fun game with a unique concept that totally works. This is one of those games that wouldve worked even if it wasnt a sex game ( not that Im complaining).
