Not quitting VW.

Having this many LI paths has shown to be a lot of work to make it progress (example: BaDik). So, its OK, just press on and don't worry about critics.

Like the game. It has its moments. The Vanessa father scene and then the following scene with Vanessa in the last episode was excellent story telling and very touching. This latest episode will see me now organizing saves by LI path. That is a lot of saves but it allows me to concentrate on one LI as the game goes along.

I just find it boring, but this happens if you game has the tag: "harem" so don't complain, just rename your MC, everyone else will take this very serious!

The problem stems from the devs' idea (he is not the only one) that tons of dialogue and "stairway to heaven" progression makes sex realistic. It is not. It makes it akin to a PG Disney movie. Attraction and sex is raw, chaotic and random. Never in my life I have heard or seen about someone who dated someone else for months on end without sex, unless for religious reasons, like if they were muslim. But even then they would sneak behind their parent's back and do the nasty nasty.

The worst case of this is games with "stairway to heaven" progression. Holy shit that is the most idiotic concept ever. Kiss--->wait a week--->grope--->wait a week--->handjob---etc etc... This is comical on a cosmic scale.

Do the personality choices and color/stats points do anything?

I don't mind a slow burn - I'm really hoping Cyclops introduces me to Jean Grey and Storm - but it doesn't feel like they do anything besides affect the response types. The dialogue is fine, but at this point, a lot of the conversation and the 'color' choices your make are starting to feel like fluff without critically affecting the story paths.

It's kind of odd how it works. Rather than impacting the MC personality, it's tracking the personality/response types you're giving to each of the love interests. I assumed it was going to prevent progress for certain relationships if you didn't get the right personality points, but they seem to be going fine...

This is not reality (sorry to tell you) this is a porn game that should earn money. So it's based on that praemissis and the question how to earn money the maximum time and this is not when the MC fucks the girl at the 1st or 2nd date.

I was wondering if there was a point to pick/rollback the choices...really was hoping the ladies corresponded to certain personality types or something and it would lock you out if you didn't make the right ones. Oh well, sort of disappointing.

I think it's a combination of things that I'm messing up on in that aspect. I've probably watched too much porn and put those tropes in there because I'm used to seeing those sequences all the time without thinking more about it. Whatever reason it is, it's a mistake on my part.

I try to rationalize why things happen in a scene that's balancing both realistic but escapism. At the same time, I fall into the trap that some devs do of trying to hold things back, which results in that progression type of feel to a relationship. I plan on going back and fixing a lot of things once everything is finished on specific scenes.

I'll admit that sometimes I go on auto-pilot when I'm planning and writing a scene. I've been actively trying to avoid it and do a better job of editing but I guess I have moments still. I'll be more aware of that now. Going forward and looking at the relationships that are less defined and where they are now, I'm doing my best to avoid a progression-type system and it'll be a more binary "all-in" or "nothing at all." If someone is willing then they're willing and that's that.

sure, there are few "slow burn" chicks, so what?
there are also some quite easy chicks as well...and there are those in between.
a pretty good balance i would say.

oh, wait, i see now, the problem is that "my fav chick isnt getting any proper action, while playing hard to get for too long".
oh damn, thats a disaster, this game is ultimate shit, im gonna stop playing it and never come back...or at least till the next update, and if things with "my" chick arent progressing, im gonna fill the same complain all over again.

I enjoyed the update and enjoy the game in general. There are certainly characters that you move faster with than others, but I'm ok with that. I feel like each character in the game has a purpose and don't really dread interacting with any of them the way I do in other games sometimes. If you feel like you need to adjust the pacing on certain characters, I would just make sure that it feels somewhat organic to the game and not just to please people with more sex scenes.

The developers do not need to try to please everyone, slow burn is good, I am satisfied with the pace of the game, the story is interesting, I know there are some messages disappointed with the lack of progress, in fact I have played so many erotic games, rarely see a female character like Vanessa and Riley so cold to the MC, this instead is very attractive to me to play on, imagine having sex with them I think I will feel very satisfied, it is worth the wait!

Thanks for the feedback. Just wanted to let you all know that I read the positive responses, too, even if I don't respond to you. I like to hear how to improve if I can. I'm not going to change the game completely. My plans for the overall story and plot are the same going forward. I think if you like the game already, you'll like what's ahead.

I believe that it'll be a harem in the sense that all the LIs will be fine with MC being with all other LIs, but there won't be big orgies where he sleeps with everyone at once. There will be some groupings (like the threesome in the latest episode), but not huge fuckfests.
