We don't. If he does as he said he might, great, as this is one of my favourite stories. If not, I'll be sad, but such is life. I don't think he made a living off of this game and life has a habit of reaching our and biting you in the ass sometimes.
We have plenty of other games to choose from. I hope the Dev is doing well in his life first and foremost.
Don't know where this "April" date is coming from, but the official last post from OrbOrigin according the games future has this statement:

hahaha, there goes you hopium "back in april" This all "on hold" scheme was really dubious. I don't know if it were paid actors or gullible maniacs? Nevertheless very weird defense of this project when I said it's gone month ago. Anyway you know that the game is abandoned when vague lengthy posts start to appear for entire year with no real substance behind them.

TBH, the fact his patreon has been silent since December and his statement about returning sometime around April but no comment or update this late in April makes me think it really leaning towards abandoned unfortunately....

Because Orb is a passionate dev. Remember they lost their father and have been dealing with stuff more important. They already said Ch12 was defo coming it just will take time and 'patience'.

I panicked for a sec when I saw the "Abandoned" tag and then I calmed down when other members said it's a rule for a game forum or thread to have this tag when there is no update.
I still believe dev Orb is still working on Part 12 of "A Mother's Love". We just need to be patient and trust him. This is my first and my favorite sex game. I have full confidence that dev Orb will return and Part 12 will come out.

Can finally someone of the ones who said there should be an update or something happening in April finally show the devs post about that?. For me it actually seems more likely there only was someone doing a bullshit post about that and now some think that was true. According the Patreon posts from OrbOrigin I've checked there never was such a date mentioned.
