I hated Adam and Maya...eeer..Jenny from the get-go here and it was that initial office scene when he bad-mouths the MC that I was like this is not going to be such a fun game to play. Then the Jenny work take off the shirt thing made it worse. I stayed away from this game for a few weeks before I came back to it, but still have the door open ready to leave again.

Once I got the "She's the one" choice for Ash on my first real run, I'm like "ok, let's see where this goes." Going to stick it out with this game unless something happens that really upsets me.

I remember when i started to play that game i was quite surprised by the quality of the characters and the story, but once i entered the dean office and encountered Adam, i new it would turn into some painfull shit.
At that moment i stopped to play for two day and wanted to delete that game, but once the disapointment went out, i decided to go on just to see.
In general i hate those stupid dramas in those games because they are almost always crappy and annoying.

PS: and the shrirt scene at the house was so much like some shit only existing to capture the audience of the teenagers with a sticky hand.

Yes exactly, the MC and the girls all together going to the farm and creating a farming comunity with polygamy and soon a handfull of little childen running around an playing in the mud with the pigs!!

I will go through the roof if Adam does something like that after the party with the expulsion . I don't expect him to but I think Jenny's going to get the short end of the stick with the will reading. That I agree with. This game just has me leery about it in so many ways. I'm always one scene away from taking it off my hard drive, and I was never like that with any other VN.

This one for some reason just makes me very nervous.

Don't forget Adam's speech (Rant) to Susan in the Prologue, about his "vision" for the college.
That why I am slightly less worried for Rebecca and Aurora, (Famous/well known) Musician and Actress.

That's exactly what i was thinking, Adam sort of menace him and his daughter if he doesn't sell his shares, so the man could make a move and find out something shady about Adam to blackmail him maybe and get him out of the way.

But anyway, Adan character is such a caricature of the evil vilain that it spoils everything.

I believe shit will go sideways at the party. Adams moves will be revealed. But there's a chess piece that's in play that could mess those plans up...

I'm thinking the same thing with the fathers business partner. He does own a controlling interest in the company. Along with the fact that he doesn't like that Adam is trying to take everything from Jen. The only reason he is his daughters treatment, which is right up jens alley. Its essentially what was done for her and I have no doubt that she would do it for her. So maybe there could be an agreement.

I can only tell you that I pray for people to come to this thread and find out what amazing job TLG is doing, which surpasses many other VNs here. This is premium quality, triple-A in the making, I say!

I mean, how can someone NOT fall in love with this VN once giving it a try?

The writing has been really good on College Kings (sadly that changed now) and the slow buildup lead to some great sex scenes.
A.O.A Academy have had some problems with the writing (mostly the spelling) and the animations in the 2.5 sex scenes have some problems (TLG have said himself that he's not good at it and hopes to bring in someone else to help him) and most of the adult men are bald (maybe I'm the only one annoyed by that ). Something that also has an effect is that unlike College Kings, A.O.A Academy haven't yet come to the point where we are are rewarded with sex scenes with our chosen lady (unless it's Jade), in fact we haven't even been able to kiss anybody but Ashley and Jade. College Kings got a lot of Patreon support when the sex scenes came and the same thing vill most likely happen here.

In the end it comes down to IMO 3 things:
1. College Kings having now a team working on the game and A.O.A Academy is still just done by one guy. This means that one game gets faster updates than the other.
2. A.O.A Academy have a slower relationship progression than College Kings. This means that people looking for porn gets bored.
3. College Kings is marketed as a Porn Game and A.O.A Academy is marketed as a Visual Novel. A.O.A Academy isn't at heart a porn game, it's a Visual Novel with porn elements. Porn sells better so a more porn-focused game also sells better. (I wouldn't say College Kings is a pure porn game neither but it's selling itself as one)

But like I said, this is just my opinion and I'm in no way trying to make one look less than the other. I love both games.

Depends on what you want. There are two chapters and a prologue of story but only 2 sex scenes and a blowjob so far.
