So it's exactly what i predicted long ago, i said that each update seemed to cover one day and that as we were monday i guess we needed 5 updates till the party. Then with some maths, one update each 3 months, it would make the party come only next year.
If each update brings a lot of content it's ok, like in BAD, but if it's just a few dialogues and a few teasing scenes, i will stop following that game as i did for many others that seemed promising but which ended beeing just some milking project.

in my opinion three months is nothing compared to other games especially for quality


I know games that don't look as good as this and takes 5 to 6 months for One update sometimes even 1 year

and the developer actually apologized for taking 4 months to make one update



and I know developers that take over a year for one update and when you ask them about it the developer actually insults you

don't misunderstand me I was very frustrated about the lack of action between Jenny and the MC but

I don't think that the developer is blue balling us on purpose this is not a fuck Fest game

I am so grateful that the MC of this game is not a sex obsessed moron

Tbf when you are a bunch of college kids hiding from the Mafia is not the best time to have some sexy times.
This can be a problem in the long run because the game is overly dramatic with everyone having problems.
Not the best scenario to fap.

They had enough time to take naps, post up and watch movies, swim, go to dinner, etc. Theyre getting chased by a cartel but in actuality theyre basically having a hotel slumber party.

Im sure sex could be squeezed into that itinerary or replace one of those events. Game doesnt do itself any favors by Jill-ing all the LIs which is a lesson it oddly seems to have forgotten after CH. 1.

I'm getting some Acting Lessons vibes from this latest chapter. It's also been quite a while since I've hated an antagonist this much. AOA academy has a way of telling its stories that many AVN's on this site can learn from. I'm very curious as to how the antagonists will be dealt with, Jenny's brother specifically. We're not even halfway through the story and I already hate him with a burning passion. I also really want to know how Jill's betrayal will be handled. I understand that she needs the marriage for her own wellbeing and probably some things which we have yet to know about, but she basically sold the life of someone else because of her own selfish needs. And not some random person, but a girl who has been raped and abused over and over for years and just wants to live a life of peace. At this point in time, I have absolutely no sympathy for Jill and I hope she receives just as severe a punishment for her actions as Jenny's brother whenever that time comes.

And what is up with all the people here so riled up about sex scenes? There are other AVN's on this site where you can find sexual scenes in like the first 10-20 minutes. Instead of trying to get a dev(that's doing everything right might I add) to conform to how you believe their AVN should be, why not play another AVN altogether? The updates are on time, the story is flowing and coherent, and the characters are well-written. The only real issue is that the routes are not equally explored each update, and it's debatable on whether or not that's an actual problem. The routes are being updated, but some LI's will naturally receive more attention than others every update. Cannot expect the dev to make everyone happy each update. The routes are coming along with the scenes, but these things take time. It's better for the dev to organically deliver them on their own time, than to rush and mess things up. If you want sex scenes so bad, then go to another AVN. Complaining about it will not do anything. Seriously, has complaining worked positively on any other dev?

This update was wonderful as usual, and I'm really curious to see how The Dalias Cartel, Jenny's brother, and Jill are going to be dealt with. I was anxious during this whole update because of the Acting Lessons vibes I got from the story lol. I really hope none of the LI's or other characters have to die during this whole ordeal. I hope the dev has a way for all of them make it out safely. Too many Acting Lessons flashbacks for my tastes...

My concern was not exactly about a lack of sexual content, i can play a slow pacing game with much pleasure if there is a lot of good content to play at each update.
I'm not playing those game just as fap material, i prefer a good story, a good writing and a nice work on the graphic side.
I still haven't play the last update, but by what i see here i don't feel that much has been going on.
Ok it's just a beta so maybe a lot is still missing, but if there is no major event going on and no real sexual content also, it starts to get me a little worried.
Those games where there are multiple paths can cause a problem when an update just takes care of one or two paths and ignore the others.
I loved the start of that game and the characters, but with time passing you cannot just develop some love affairs during many updates without setting up an important event or plot change/progress.
If i take BAD as example, with each update there was a cliffhanger or a main event or a plot change, i can say that DPC really knows how to handle his business !!

I will never understand how people fail to acknowledge the harm this view has on VNs. These forums are not a microcosm of the average VN consumer, its a bubble. Do you want the developer to have the funding to work on this VN full time? Do you want the dev to have the funding to upgrade their rig for increased quality & speed? Do you want the dev to have the finding to potentially grow a team?

If you answered yes to any of those questions and still believe lewds should be sidelined youre either hopelessly optimistic or unfortunately delusional/misinformed.

I feel like ive been having to repeat this a lot, but your favorite slow burn VN likely has not cracked at minimum 2K patrons and its a near certainty it never will. The bubble that is F95 does not represent the majority of the VN community.

Look at games like DeLuca Family and Summer's Gone, the most popular slow burns with millions of hits in their threads...... But an extremely small number of patrons even with years on the market.

All this to say, youre basically telling the dev to go out of their way to leave food off of their plate to the detriment of us all, yourself included, for the exact reason I stated---your average VN consumer will not open their wallets for a slow burn. You can literally confirm this yourself right now.

If you want the VN you enjoy to take off it needs good lewds. This is not a debate, it is the objective reality.

The updates are on time, the story is flowing and coherent, and the characters are well-written.

Like I said, im not trying to shit on the dev at all. I want this game to be great otherwise I wouldnt even bother, id ignore the thread and move on.

Although im not a fan of this chapter there is a lot of content in this beta which proves this dev can work very efficiently. One would be a fool to deny the outstanding effort theyve put in so their productivity isnt an issue at all.

when it comes to ashley & jenny I'm pretty sure their sex scenes will get postponed till version 7-8 comes out.

ashley said she wanted to wait for a week before they get sexual & each update depicts a day in the mc's life so there will be quite a lot of waiting for that to happen.

jenny won't have sex with mc till their ball dance scene is over with, that's at least 3 updates into the future.

The way I see it valery is the only girl outside of jade who might get sexual with the mc after her dealings with the cartel get solved.

Good point, if thats true, with this pace we need to wait 6-8 months more before Valery to get sexually involved with MC and waiting 1-1.4 year for Ashley and Jenny to get sexual scenes. Our world will chance a lot.

But, i will wait for Jenny, i actualy don't care of others that much, since i owe a big deal to Jenny, she gave me an opportunity to experience new life.
