Let's hope from here on out the dev does what he wants to do.

Not in the slightest no. She is a childhood friend...if you read the dialogue properly (saying that again)....her parents divorced...she hated living with her mother...and when she was at her lowest...the MC told her to leave (to help her..better her life)..this is what caused the original argument for them to fall out.

Yeah, wonder if there was more to the argument than that.

I agree a choice would have been nice...but only nice...not necessary. End of the day, those girls are obviously central to the plot...just like many characters we are forced to interactwith in many VN's.

Yeah, just felt weird that this rich girl gives two shits and then bogarts the MC from seeing his long lost best friend, especially when the build up was all toward meeting Ashley. Though it makes sense that it was so abrupt if the original beginning was that she forced him to be her maid and he had no choice in anything (as others have said).

Even creepy can be good if done right (Elizabeth from Estate comes to mind). The problem here is that you never even get a sense she has an ulterior motive, she seems a genuinely caring person (with a sob story to boot). Which makes the whole maid/thinly veiled sex worker thing seem like it's from another game. I guess that's why you have to filter criticism as a dev.

If it was up to me, I'd make her put a friendly mask on but would have made her manipulative tendencies obvious to the player. That would at least fit making a maid out of the poor country hunk you just met.

I don't play Estate, I am not a fan of D/S content at all. And I always assume that anyone that nice has an ulterior motive. Especially when they are rich. But that's just me

Hope the dev sorts the writing hiccups and continues with a solid vision of what the characters will be, because this game has promise.

Same, I hope that the dev has a solid storyline and, if including D/S or any more extreme kinks, will make them optional. Though I hope they don't go out of their way to have the characters emphasize that it is optional. I'm just curious as to what the main plot will be, if it will be anything beyond "college guy fucks college girls" at all.

I don't think he plans to have any D/S content if you read the change log he says "I toned down how forceful Jenny's approach is, since people were speculating things that were going way beyond what I initially intended to show."

I think that before he rewrote that scene people understandably thought the game was going down a forced femdom route with the original scene. Plus before the rewrite if I remember correctly she threatens to do what her brother said and ruin the MCs life which doesn't exactly make her look good at all.

I am sad that the developer felt a need to change the initial approach but I can understand it. If she had been left as a, seemingly, forced femdom character I am sure many wouldn't have been very sympathetic to her character. Even as she is right now I find her creepy, am suspicious of her having an ulterior motive, and don't trust her. I know that I can be an asshole (but not 100% a dick) but at the end of the day the dev needs to decide if the characters are being portrayed properly to them. If the characters are how they wanted them to be then they should ignore the criticism and keep going with their story, changing too much can lead to problems down the road where players think they can get more changed if they scream loud enough.
I'm excited to see what happens next in the game because the renders are solid and the story, though the college guy/harem thing, at least starts differently. Whether it continues on a different trajectory than normal is what will decide me on whether I want to keep going.

Yeah I can definitely see the similarities to Steph especially since just like what happened with Jenny in this game the player had Steph forced on them and in the older versions of that game were forced to have sex with her and understandably got pissed off with it.

Like I said earlier today I prefer the rewrite the dev did and don't think it massively changed the story too much and Since it was so early on he can now just focus on his game, and not worry about people getting the wrong idea and a horrible first impression of his characters. I think there isn't much you can say about the story or writing yet since its so early into the games development but I think everyone can agree that the game has beautiful high quality renders and that goes a long way into making a porn VN very successful.

Eh, a choice to end the game or, if we want to continue, accept being her servant for a week isn't really much of a choice.

For me it's too early to say if it will or won't be a good game, the renders are absolutely top notch but the story, as with all college guy/harem games, is a bit simplistic. The prologue established that he is going to college, his ex-best friend also attends the school (what are the odds!) and he is required to work 1 week (minimum) for the rich girl who conveniently saved him from being expelled by her "brother".

It is just too early in the story for me to judge whether it will be a good game. However, I do have hope that it will be worth playing and I am definitely following it. I am just in a wait and see mode before I dive headlong into the "this is awesome" fervor.

Overall, my disappointment stems from wanting to spend time with Ashley and not Jenny. "Poor little rich girl" just isn't a background that appeals to me.

If we are to only think about it through the eyes of the MC then why would he trust this complete stranger? The older sister of the asshole who doesn't want the MC there? Some obviously rich woman who, for some unknown reason, expects the MC to clean her house and "consider" whoring himself out to her and the other women in the house? ("Well, There's a bonus here and there if you go along with our requests.. Me and the other girls need to have some fun after all.")

The MC was reluctant to leave his home and come to the big city, the only reason he did was because his father was able to get him into the academy and he discovered that Ashley was there. In this day and age the MC and Ashley could reconnect on social media. The MC has never thought, even once, about what he'd want to do with an education. We don't know what he wants to do with his life at this point. All we've seen is broad ideas like he feels there is something more out there waiting for him...

Yes this is a game, or as you unnecessarily emphasized it "Game", so I would like to see more of the MC's motivation for taking Adam's bullshit and accepting Jenny's servant job beyond the fact that it is a game and "cuz". I feel the prologue is the perfect opportunity to tell the players that the MC has always wanted to finish high school and study a certain subject... Music, Art, Biology, Sports Medicine, whatever...

I get a few errors at the start and the menu doesnt even work and at the end of the conversation with ashley when she jumps into bed the games just crashes and cant go further
