Yeah Adam is this game's main douche-nozzle. He's VERY likely going to get in the MC's way, screw over Jenny and most of her crew and I would certainly think most of the students. He wants to make A.O.A. "elite" and not have people like the MC, Valery, Jade, etc at the academy.

I'm sure he'll get shit thrown in his face at some point, but until then, it'll be dealt out to everyone else.

The only way I know right now to get a game over is in the Dean's Office in the very beginning when Jenny offer's help. I did it for the hell of it and just to see what the Game Over screen looked like.

Right now in this game, there's a certain event coming up (not giving it away for people who haven't played yet) where Adam is most likely going to start a pretty damn good war with a couple of people, one being Jenny. Shit is going to fly in every direction.

I haven't played BADIK yet, should I give it a shot and how good is it?

Definitely would recommend BADIK, its amazing and overall my favourite adult game. It has a lot of content, great girls (who all get meaningful focus) and an entertaining story that keeps you engaged. The lewd content is more of an extra. It also inspired games like this and Leap of Faith so hopefully the genre will shift away from mindless incest/harem stuff and instead more story driven stories

It'll happen, but in due time of course. I'm expecting there to be some really good intimate scenes in this game, but it's just going to be a while. I personally think once more chapters come into this game, and it gets more discussion and we get deeper into the story, hopefully it won't be as underrated as it is.

As long as its not as slow as games like A wife and mother or Deluca family I think it's fine. I would rather not wait years to get some "sexy time" with the girls lol. So far the pacing is good

The only thing BaDIK and A.O.A. have in common is the fact that they are college themed.

Both are extraordinary games.
BaDIK is in the top 3-5 of games ever developed in this genre. It's a mammoth project with lots of content, an insane number of choices and a quality difficult to match.
A.O.A. is a more modest project from a newcomer with an interesting story, romance, secrets, some choices... plus gorgeous women and stunning renders. The facial expressions of the girls are among the best I've ever seen in any game (on a par with City Of Broken Dreamers and even better than BaDIK in my opinion). They seem alive.

Tbh, I'm hoping TLG will surprise us and for a while Adam will be the primary antagonist but by the end, with a certain someone on the loose and almost to the campus now, they'll become the main villain and Adam will somewhat redeem his character and do the right thing by the end.

That I agree with. I almost forgot about that guy. It would be a good story for sure if Adam is initially King Assclown then has a redeemable change of heart. It's nice to think about, but who knows. One can only hope.

I don't care if it's a slow build-up. I want it make sense with the story, especially with Ashley. I mean you can't imagine Rebecca, the shyest in the game, to suddenly want to be doing something every second. Aurora too. Jade is certainly the wildest. Don't know about Jenny, Vicky, Val or Sung.

I always want the love/sex-scenes to make sense, and not be for fan service. Other games wait too long yes, and draw the story out too much *COUGH* DIK *COUGH* so it all depends on pacing, story, and the dialogue leading up to it.

That's how I am and what I care about with these games. If I wanted pure sex stuff, there's an entire 'net for that. I'm not holding to any moral high-ground, just have my opinions.

The contrast between the girls and the way the MC interract with them could be handled better. The hang out revealed that Ashley, Sung Ji and Vicky haven't kissed a boy yet. The MC himself was a complete virgin when he arrived, which means he can lose his virginity with Jade in less than three days like it was nothing. And Jade, a former hooker, acted like this inexperienced boy was the shit. Same thing with the blowbjob session that Valery, Jenny & Rebecca watched like for them, it was tuesday.

Sometimes it feels like some scenes belong to two different games.

So I finished the beginning of the game and I have to say premise is terrible. MC doesn't even want to attend college but his father dies so he now has a spiritual obligation or something, humiliated the second he arrives at college and has to work as a maid? I stopped playing at that point and probably will delete it. What is this with porn games trying to be a soap opera just give me boobs and vagina (a good story is a big bonus but drama doesn't mean automatic good story!).

well the game's are usually like this , you ether buy in the story or not .
i always have problems with sifi themed stories . broken dreamers is loved by many and
i just cant get into it .

Played and loved both. I like the mafioso games as MC gets more choice to do whatever he/she wants. Tbh I usually find most of the college setting games pretty laid back with regards to drama filled stories but I guess this isn't one of them.

Not going to deny at all that you have a point here.

He basically goes and becomes a submissive to Jenny right off the bat and coerced into doing things right off the bat with four girls (including a BJ from Jade, if chosen). It does set the pace for sure and can give off bad-first impression. It is one of of the things that threw me off this game's scent for a while before I came back to it.

You go from big, tough farmboy to what? boy-toy in 24 hours, if that? And you get asked by certain girls (not including Ashley here) if you like them the day after?

Being a DIK only draws it out with Jill and Bella, rest of the main girls have had plenty of sex scenes and also there are lots of side girls who get that. I think some girls should have sex/lewd scenes sooner than others in this game as well.

Like me, this game does seem bi-polar. Ashley did kiss the MC (at least on my route) but had to lie about it so she wouldn't get teased by Sung and didn't want her to know. Jade (to me, this game's "Quinn") is the only one really forward enough to take any kind of initiative (not that it's a good thing) but it doesn't seem meaningful right now.

The only thing that DOES seem meaningful are the kisses Ashley and the MC share (the dorm room and the roof).

The Jade thing is just fan-service in my eyes for those who want "action" out of the starting gate. It just makes no sense to me but I agree, it does seem like two games. I do hope though the story in this game goes somewhere with and during the party scenes and afterwards. And I hope there's some consistency and steadiness involved when it does.

I never played the new update, and I never will. If I go back to the game, it'll be when it's done OR when I know the whole blackmail BS is over and they can be together. And for those who really know me know I fucking adore Jill to death.

Yes she's a former hooker and not afraid of diving right in, but damn, not during the first fucking meeting of the MC and the rest of the girls while Rebecca is one of the shyest girls in this entire VN genre I've ever seen.

I really do hope things level out and once this party schtick is over with, we can move on and try to spend time with the girls that we've chosen. Not just sexually, but I want to see how the MC and Ashley really do reconnect. Does he buy her a guitar? Dating? I mean I want a good story here but don't stretch it out too much like silly putty for so long like DIK is doing.

One poor storyline (like DIK's blackmail in my opinion) can really bork a game. I know the obstacles make the destination that much more special, but how long do you have to travel and how many do you have to get over before you get there?

Yeah the blackmail story is a bit forced in being a DIK but as long as there is no fucked up ending to it I'm fine with it. Being a DIK is more like an interactive soapy drama series so the romances will have different hardships to go through and won't get an easy resolution & I like that. So far I think the pacing for Being a DIK is fine but if it these obstacles just keep going it will be frustrating

In this game I think things are progressing too fast though. For an example that the Ashley romance is a bit rushed, you meet up with her and then already declare that you have feelings for each other and now all that is left is just reconnecting more with her. At least with Jenny there are more problems and with the other girls its also just the "getting to know each other" phase

And with Jane I think the BJ was the really forced part because it happened so quickly and also in front of the other girls who acted like it was normal. For a game like this it doesn't fit, even in incest games the MC doesn't get a BJ that quickly lol. The sex scenes after that are fine but overall she is not one of my favourites
