Hello.
The game is quite nice for a prologue.
In my opinion, this is (again) an abusive use of the "completed" tag...
I'm tired of being lured by games with this "completed" tag, when the story not even began... :cautious:
Hey! Did you download all 2 files (prologue and completed)?

Hi, don't misinterpret my comment, I like your work a lot, and there is a fair amount of HQ H-content, it's the "season thing" I don't like, I know it's now a common habit (and I don't like it), but I think the "completed" tag should only be used when the full story is completed (or at least, the game title should contain "prologue" or "chapter X"). Some "final games" which are in final state with the full story have the same tag, and in my opinion (again it's just my opinion), it's just confusing for the player.
Personally, when I chose to filter with the "completed" tag, I don't want to get completed chapter of the game, but a completed game.

And from now on, in every game I comment or I rate, I will take this in consideration.

But the most important thing is that, even with this little annoying season thing, I liked playing it a lot.

Its ok, dont worry! You said everything in correct and polite way. And I like your opinion. Yes, because of the prologue the game looks short. But I separate it at least because of the story and stupid sprite system in first releases. But, yes, main part looks short. I hope I will never make this mistake. But who knows. Only future show what I capable of.

Also, completed games always the best thing. But you know what? The good way to create completed games is creating short kinetic novels. But only few devs can make it, because almost no one will buy this project. People complain about devs that they create not completed games. But when some devs released final product almost no one support it (I'm not talking about myself, just example). + you need a very cool pc and you should be very creative to provide only finished storys. This is why more devs create games version by version (you can work step by step, write step by step + you earn more money). But this is also a reason why so much games abandoned or in development for several years. This is very hard to complete game when you create it slow and version by version. There comes a day when you have nothing to say and you do not know how to complete the game, despite the fact that you have a full plan for development. Well, this is just my opinion and experience :)

Maybe finishing games my achilles' heel
You're not alone with that, the endings are the problem of a lot of the games here.
On the other hand, there are many games that should finally come to an end, but still artificially kept alive by endlessly dragging the story.
Finding the right time and the right point to end the story is an art of its own. ;)

Yes, prologue is fucking mess, but at least this is good for story.
Yes. The prologue conveys a completely different game than what it became.
To clear things up, it might be better to integrate the Ellie content from the prologue into the main game and discard the rest of the prologue - all the other Li's don't appear later anyway.
As it is now, it is really confusing and that was one of the main reasons for the criticism that came up here.

I think your problem was, that at the beginning (the prologue time) you didn't even know for yourself, where you were going with your story.

Sorry, I should have been more specific...
My real problem isn't the seasons/chapter system (I follow a lot of unfinished games that I like very much), it's more when it's tagged with "completed" without a warning in the title that the story is "ongoing".
It's like watching TV series or movies, sometimes I don't feel link beginning a new one that will finish God knows when, and more likely in the mood of watching a movie (or short finished TV series).

So, to be clear, my real concern is the use of the "completed" tag.

Maybe a different tag should be used to be more specific...

I completely agree with you! I thought about adding Ellie's part from prologue to the main game. But I didn't do it like that. There can be several reasons:
1) I'm lazy fuck (most often this is a true reason:HideThePain:).
2) I just didn't want to mess with code.
3) It was very hard to implement (I remember that I tried to do it).

Yep, I understood what you mean. I think this is a hard to implement such tag. But on my opinion its completed, like "Season 1 completed". But, again, I understood what you want to say :)

finished. and I think I've seen all the content.

the first part, the prologue, is very promising, it introduces us to several characters, all of them very interesting. then the choice of one of these girls is imposed on us, it is a forced and sudden choice, but in the story told it is quite believable. after this choice we live a couple of days with the chosen girl.

Then comes the second part... that cancels everything we did in the first part and develops only the story of Ellie, the sister. This second effort is quite disappointing, it completely cancels everything we did in the first part, making useless the time lost to know the other characters.

On its own, the second part, just for Ellie, is not bad, it continues to build the fantasy world in which the next chapters should move. it seems quite affected and less successful than the first one (even if as a story the first part was the most classic school story).

i wish we could find the person who started this season and episode nonsense for games and beat him while yelling that's for tv shows!!!!

also when ppl see completed they think they game is complete and there will be an ending, no one thinks oh it's s01 that's completed. words like final along with completed further the idea that the game is done, when we get to the end it will say fin or the end not to be continued.

shoulda banged hera too... oh yea what is the point of the other girls? they're there and then all of sudden it's just hera and ellie.. we need our harem of all of the females in our class!! they want it too!

I will use them in season 2, but not soon. Season 2 will be in fantasy world, this is not good for my pc right now.

I already explained it. After death they go to Singing Forest, where Hera is waiting them.

Yes, this is exactly what I'm doing in my new game. But you know what really fun? In the new game, I will develop everything very slowly and when after several updates I do not add sex scenes because of the story, then dissatisfied people will definitely appear in the comments. It is impossible to please everyone. As for the ending, yes, it was fast, but I don't think it turned out badly. But, yeah, it's not for everyone. But I'm not trying to pleased everyone. First of all I'm doing games because I love them. If I want add something, I will add that. If I feel that the game boring and with very much empty updates, I will finish what I have (this is a reason why now I want create small updates, step by step, just to be sure that I don't miss something). I hope I answered your question. Also, my first game The Soul Needs Freedom (real porn), also finished and this game have very much content. But even with TSNF I have people complaining about ending. Maybe finishing games my achilles' heel (and I'm sure that this is true right now. But, again, I'm proud of ARIYE right now, since this is my first game in daz3d).
thanks for the answer and explaining, so i'm looking foard to your new game...the bse is built..u can do a good game if focusing more on few aspect that ount like story, char development, and ofc romantic scene too.

I take it this game is now actually abandoned since you cut out all the other characters stories finished the only one you intended to and now moved on?
No, its not abandoned. As I wrote early its an end of season 1. End of story in real world. They are now with Hera in another universe, Singing Forest, where they will continue adventure. Yeah, right now Im working on another game. Im just need to relax from this project, it was a good experience for my daz3d skill. I will start season 2 later, when I will be realy comfortable with 3d and especially with medieval world.
