Too much branching for my taste, might lead to later updates with all branches having very little content added, or some branches not getting any content.

almost all branches get a second chance if you miss the conversation the 1st time by going a diff route.. eg convos or routes you take at the party you can have a second chance at with the girls you didnt talk to the day after

I'm not very far in (just got to the party), but as soon as the ED for Ouran Highschool Host Club started playing when meeting Mai... I love you TheOmega. Also wanted to say that aside from a little "this is obviously a porn game" dialogue, the dialogue is really well written for all the characters. The conversations feel very natural and do a good job of showing off the different personalities of the various characters. The detail put into the MC especially is pretty unique as well, and I think it's great that he's starting from such a low point of having such bad anxiety that he's medicated for it, instead of just right off the bat being perfect and everyone wanting his dick. It gives him so much room to grow and overcome himself as the game progresses.
A lot of games lately try to do harem, which is great for a sexual power fantasy, but it's not very realistic and the writing tends to suffer for it so it's nice to see that SitD isn't going for that so far. I'm all for harem, but just making all the girls inexplicably okay with it is lazy and I'd rather just choose one girl if it means the writing stays consistently good.
I meant to only type that first sentence and now I have a couple of paragraphs. Damnit. Well, I guess that speaks to the quality of your game. =) I'll do an ACTUAL review once I've finished, and likely head over to your SubscribeStar once I've got a steady paycheck again.

Thank you for the detailed information. Do you remember if you were skipping through the dialogue/script at all (holding down CTRL) or the SKIP button from the quick menu?

Also, when Kevon was not an option to text the first time around, did you have a text from the mom? Both of those variables are set at the same time so that will help isolate what's going on if so.

Yes, in all times the mom's text shows up. The only difference between Mom/Kevon is that for Kevon, in all but a few choices, I avoided getting points for him.

The route I remember going was staying around to meet the aunt, not trying to help Kevon with his boxes, going to the party, not drinking with Kevon and instead hanging out with Elly (all the way) at the party, and then chilling with the twins outside (mostly focused on getting points for Sophie), and finally being with the Sophie in her room going all the way and intervening with her ex-boyfriend. In all other choices, I'd use the Universal Renpy Mod to figure out which choice gave positive points to everyone (except for Kevon).

I can't say for certain whether I skipped over a vital variable-setting, because I'd often rollback to read something and then skip to the newest message.

Attached is a save from the end of Chapter 1 that (for me) will always later not show Kevon's text message.

Please make a way to move through the phone conversations faster or just have less of them they are so slow

Badly needs a way to speed up the chatting. It FORCES pace instead of letting it go at your own pace, when it's multiple people to message it's just a time sink

Anyone else stuck messaging with Elly? Last message received was "I'm going to hold you to that..." And I can close the message but not the contact list (EVERYTHING I have tried has either done nothing or brought me to the save menu.) Any suggestions because I am completely stuck

So, at the end of ch1, it told me I didn't meet Ellie. Was there a choice for it? I only had choices for Alexis, Mai and Sara, then Natalie and Sophie outside.

Look what appears when I try to put the code. I've already tried to turn it off in the options there, which says to turn it off and still can't type the code in enter code. and i'm playing on windows 11

It sounds like the game got in a bad state with the variables somehow. Have you tried an earlier save? My other suggestion if that doesn't work would be to right click or try the ESC key when the cursor is not on the texting screen.

I am playing on android. I tried an earlier save and it still stuck when I got to that point. I can still do SOME things, just can't close the "contacts" list so I can close the phone and/or advance the game...and game doesn't advance automatically like it has been.
