How do I do this? It seems necessary to progress her. I just pay for her when I help her but no option to make him stop blackmailing or whatever.

You have to wait until Thomas is "punishing" Kate at midnight for a bad job (play the serving minigame badly to bring it up). Just walk up to them and choose to intercede.

The reason a lot of games work this way is because a lot of games are renpy, which comes with that function built it.
This game is NOT renpy, which is why it does not work.

completely different thing. spacebar, enter, and X all call on RPGM's built in acceleration functionality.
It has two problems, which are:
1. slow
2. automatically clicks choices for you

The 2nd doesn't happen if you hold the button from the beginning. You need another press to select the choices.

Trust me, I do this all the time when playing Blackjack.

Iirc, you don't need to play badly to trigger it.

After you play Kate's waitress minigame. Thomas and her meet up every midnight in front of his room. At 20A, you should've had the option to stop the blackmailing.

I didn't get that option. He just pays for her and that's it.

Hmmm, maybe it was because I did the Rick "NTR" thing. I wanted them to be a couple and then secretly fuck her behind his back lol. But this seems like it locks out the entire content for Kate? MC only stops Thomas blackmail if he told Rick about getting with Kate. If he doesn't stop the blackmail, she doesn't seem to progress past kissing the MC or something.

Edit: Actually, nvm. Scratch that. It did trigger without telling Rick. Maybe I just had to keep helping her at midnight until it triggers.

No my dude, Tia's bonus scenes are the one being worked on currently. Remember that the schedule is set so that after a main update Chyos always works on a bonus scene for someone.

Public updates aren't the only kind of updates. I'd say your pedantry is pointless, but if you weren't a patron at all I guess the only access you'd have is the public ones. I guess that for you the only kind of update that matters is the public one.

For some reason some people here have tried to make it seem like the only updates that matter are the flat 3.0.0/4.0.0/5.0.0.

In reality, any release that adds new content could be grounds for an update. Its pretty annoying too because they are trying to make it seem like any other content release by Chyos isnt worth downloading , because of that we have to wait weeks just for someone to post the latest content, unless we get someone with a brain who actually provides the bonus scene content as soon as its available.

Ideally, people want content when its available, the "X.5 updates" are exactly that; updates, they provide new content. Its not your job to make a decision on what people should or shouldnt want, we are here to pirate content.

I may be wrong but I think you have to be recognized as her boyfriend in order to fully stop it. She must be only with you and not with Rick.
