You guys who are here tirelessly chatting about future updates like it is your favorite soap and new episode is tomorrow, are obviously forgetting that it took 3 years for third of the planned story and that updates are constantly slowing down...but I guess it is nice to be on a welfare so you can waste days on stuff like this...
Welfare? Stupid dumb kid...retired, early thank you ;) Now move along little one.

I'm not an expert on that, but did you really manage to do half a day in 5 months? somehow I don't know I wonder maybe I'm wrong
No, half a day in 5 months is correct. But the update itself is about 15% of the game in number of renders (1327/8312). And you have to choose between the Julia/Ellie event and the Alyssa, so on a single playthrough you're only getting roughly 2/3 of the content.

And then there's the animations. I haven't played the Alyssa route (yet), but the ones on the Julia event are fun. But probably time consuming to set up.

I downloaded the compressed version paste it and it worked.
I saved game.
And paste again the uncompressed version.
But the end is total disappointing.

L&P is the king of the slow burn, everyone knows this. There is no denying that work was done over the past 5 months as there are many new renders that have been added. The speed at which the MC loses her inhibitions and grows fonder of the sexy stuff is a choice and if you've followed this project over the years then I am sure you've embraced that choice fully.
This is the type of game that you'd be lucky to discover after version 0.200 but not before.

Job well done L&P, keep up the good work and go buy some new 3090's and hire a couple of more people so that you can release every 2 months, that's what your supporters need :)

Just piping in as someone that didn't hate the update. I'm finding it amusing that while I didn't get the content I was expecting, namely Ellie getting naked again, and possibly some action with Julia, the content I did get was pretty great, since it turned out to be Sophia in this scenario, not Ellie. And Dylan's revelation about Aiden's tasks being entirely consistent with how I see him

Any word on when Jules will return?

Could you elaborate on why you're not surprised about the revelation? Because I can say for myself, and I feel many others as well, that him being capable of such a stupid, bone-headed, manipulative, and ridiculously short-sighted thing like this is not at all how I saw his character.

Agreeing with Alley-Cat, Dylan's actions, to me, always seemed to have a manipulative undercurrent, hidden by (apparent?) naivete, so when he does do something that's bewilderingly uninformed, it doesn't feel out-of-character. I laughed and exclaimed "Of course, you did, you little shit."

Conversely, Ellie's actions are more aggressive but also more open. She's honest about what she wants. And, in this update, she too got a bit dangerously ahead of herself.

Because that's pretty much how I see him - from not engaging in class that gives Bennett the excuse to fail him, to (although we know this not to be this case anymore) picking a fight with Aiden he couldn't win. Then there's things like at the beginning, he's unwilling to help out around the house, like mow the lawn. Sam ends up benefitting. Dylan only helps out in return for something, like the bikini deal.

Then there's things like the possibility he broke the dishwasher, so that he could wash the dishes for the bikini deal. If he would just man up and engage with people, a fair chunk of his problems would just disappear. He wouldn't have to try and manipulate things like he does.

I get that many of my arguments are open to interpretation, and that's fine. As I've said ad nauseum, I can't stop anyone playing and enjoying the Dylan route. My only point was that I enjoyed the update.

Because as I've tried to explain, not everyone see's him as this wonderful ray of light from his mothers ass. he a godamn annoying little creepy idiot prick. He like that from his first scenes in the intro...if you 'want to see them'....

But that's the beauty of these, is all subjective and at many a time we see what we want to see but I don't think there can be any doubt whatsoever, his is written with some bad vibes at times. Just like you don't get where we are coming from and what we see, I really can't see why anyone likes him but I get all the characters are written for a purpose to be liked and disliked.

When this game first came out, I was extremely excited about the possibility of having a game worth re-playing multiple times. The 'faithful wife" or the "cheater" or the "occasional fun" mixed with potential "family fun"? All of that was what really drew me to the project and to eagerly look for any update possible.

NOW, however, I feel like I've been nothing but cock-teased all along. I'm sorry, but HOW can you have a game with a 25+ relationship with someone and only getting to the point of showing skin in a bathtub? HOW can you have over 30+ "naughty" points and not do anything more than a kiss or two, mixed with a bit of showing cleavage?

WHERE is the purpose of even paying any attention to this game at all any more? If you play the 'faithful wife" you basically shoot yourself in the foot as you have almost NO content worth bothering with. If you are looking for the 'cheater" or "family fun" content, it simply IS NOT THERE! There have been at LEAST 4 moments where you should be capable of 'crossing the line" but instead you get nothing but a short 2-scene moment. A 'friend' flirts during the game and joins you in the bathroom? Nope. You slap him no matter what and scene over. A trip in the subway? Nope, a couple of thugs harass you with no outcome, moment over. Trip to the beach? What? A talk to NPCs and everyone goes home? Not even a possible suntan lotion option or changing room scene? Nope, not at all. You FINALLY (after god knows how many times you tried) get to have son join you in the bathtub and 1 'touch and done'? You even go to a bar and get approached by someone that you MIGHT have snuck off to the bathrooms with possible hj/bj, but NOPE, you get cut short before you even get going.

Ok, so it is the 'slow burn". But damn it. After starting at version .001 all the way up to 1.000? I haven't even gotten lukewarm, let alone actually gotten "hot", and clearly nowhere close to being burned in anyway at all. At this point, I have come to the conclusion that only TWO things are really great about this game.
1) I NEVER joined the Patreon, so I never spent a penny on this disappointment.
2) At the pace of content? I might as well wait until version 2.5 just to HOPE for something worth investing time into.

You're right about the "bewildering" part, because it is bewildering to think he'd go from copping a feel of his Mom's ass to arranging a fake emotional blackmail plot simply to make her wear more revealing clothes. That's like someone reading the intro chapter of "Astrophysics for Dummies" and thinking they can be the Director of the Hayden Planetarium, or someone who plays Hitman and then thinks they can be a world-class assassin.

Beyond the occasionally mild guilt-tripping, I've never once viewed him as being this manipulative. His actions are honestly those of a sociopath, and that is never how he has come across to me.

Because that's pretty much how I see him - from not engaging in class that gives Bennett the excuse to fail him
How do we know he wasn't "engaging" in class? Bennett's a sleaze and not to be trusted, so it's always seemed to me that's just been a lie because he (Bennett) was trying to manipulate Sophia.

to (although we know this not to be this case anymore) picking a fight with Aiden he couldn't win.
Even if it had been true, how does standing up to someone give off a bad impression of Dylan? If we forget for a moment that it was staged and remember it how we thought it was before, being able to stand up to someone you know is more powerful than you takes a tremendous amount of courage and bravery. Some people might look at it as foolish, but it's better to be a brave fool and than a stupid fool, and quite frankly, this whole blackmail plot makes him the latter whereas before this revelation, he was very much the former.

Then there's things like at the beginning, he's unwilling to help out around the house, like mow the lawn. Sam ends up benefitting. Dylan only helps out in return for something, like the bikini deal.
Oh, wow, a teenage boy who doesn't like doing household chores, I guess that's the smoking gun. Dylan's a stupid, manipulative, sociopath because he won't pick up his dirty socks unless he's given a good incentive. You really got me there. :cautious:

Sophia could have offered to buy him a freaking video game and he would have cleaned his room or mowed the lawn, it just so happens that, since this is a porn game, he gets something a little bit better than that.

Then there's things like the possibility he broke the dishwasher, so that he could wash the dishes for the bikini deal. If he would just man up and engage with people, a fair chunk of his problems would just disappear. He wouldn't have to try and manipulate things like he does.
Confirmed, #DylanIsKayserSoze.

I mean, really now. Are we really trying to turn Dylan into some sort of diabolical criminal mastermind to justify this sudden and out-of-the-blue character shift? If Dylan were the MC of a typical run-of-the-mill porn game, I might believe it, but all I've ever seen of Dylan is a shy, awkward teenager who's maybe a little too obvious in his desire to see more of his mother than he should be, but not someone who would resort to dangerous high-risk, low-reward schemes and manipulation.

He isn't perfect, but he's far from sociopathic, which is what this blackmail plot makes him out to be. He likes to mess with his sister so I guess that makes him annoying, but that's typical sibling rivalry. He makes awkward advances towards Sophia and gawks at her at a lot, but if that makes him "creepy" then every character in this game, male and female, is creepy because they've all done that to Sophia at one point or another. And up until this point I haven't seen anything to suggest that he's an idiot. A bit slow on the uptake like most guys, but certainly no idiot.

Honestly, the only "vibes" I've had from Dylan are that he's been bit of a cheeky chancer but never anything approaching the outright level of extreme manipulative dumbfuckery that we saw in this update. But it is amusing to me that some people seem to view the advances of the male characters towards the female MC as "creepy", but give a pass to the female characters for their advances. That, and these actions probably wouldn't be so off-puttingly "creepy" if this were the typical game about a male MC trying to get into his Mom's pants.

How can your argument be "Dylan doesn't want to see her in school, it's Aiden who does", when Dylan is the one asking one of her students to make her "dress more sexy"? Aiden being the one to pressure her into doing it is somewhat irrelevant because although he certainly wants to see her dress this way, Dylan is still the one who instigated it. It doesn't matter that Dylan isn't in her class and won't see her dressed like this when he's at school, as he surely must be aware that this is where it's going to happen. Where else, exactly, does Dylan think this is going to happen? Does this mean that we are we now expected to believe that Dylan is so stupid as to think that Aiden would make her dress like this at home where Aiden can't see it?

I honestly fail to see why blackmailing Sophia into flashing cleavage at her class is necessary to make her model bikinis for her own son to help him practice photography or that this will make her more open to her son's sexual education. At the end of the day, he is still her son and doing things like this for him could simply be seen as a loving, motherly act and not dependent on an outside force making her do one small sexual thing. And even though this one small, seemingly insignificant thing is enough to give her that little push, it would still work if the blackmail was real and not a far-fetched ploy of Dylan's, so it makes Dylan being responsible for the blackmail seem quite superfluous.

But the fact that Aiden isn't trustworthy and has a bad reputation should be a huge red flag for Dylan. He can't control what Aiden will do to make Sophia wear sexier clothing, so why trust him in the first place? It's essentially like giving a car thief the keys to a showroom and thinking that they won't steal the cars. As the saying goes, "ignorance of the law is no excuse", so Dylan's ignorance of Aiden is also no excuse, especially when he is aware that he's bad news.

View attachment 820187

I feel like this gets to a big heart of the matter here. Yes, there are choices to make Dylan OK or not OK with other guys making suggestive comments about his mother (Darnell) or touching his mother (Sam), but for those who have gone down the "not OK" route, his actions here run counter to the impression that people have had about him; that he is protective of his mother. Getting someone who is knowingly unscrupulous to pretend to blackmail his mother does not seem like something a protective son would do.

What's happened here is that players are being forced into an unavoidable subplot that does not make sense with what they have seen of a certain character. If there was a way that Dylan being the instigator of the blackmail could be based on the choices of the player, then maybe it would be different, but this is now the universal constant on all paths and that's a big part of the problem for people whose perception of Dylan, based on what they have played, is that he would never do such a thing and that he's much smarter than this.

The other fundamental problem is that the results of the blackmail (bikini fashion show) would be exactly the same even without Dylan being the one who made it happen and if Aiden was actually bullying him. It's like the first Indiana Jones film, where the key events of that movie (Nazis find the Ark, take it to a remote island to open it, and they all die) would have happened anyway without Indy's involvement. Dylan being responsible for it is superfluous and actually damages the perception of his character rather than making him a sympathetic character as he was when it was believed he was the subject of actual bullying.
h.b. i agree with you 100% but still think zac is a bigger piece of crap that dylan and aiden put together
