what game are those renders from?Sometimes I think how easy it is to be totally misunderstood, but considering your tone I think you are this passive-aggressive because deep down you know I am right on this.
I had a laugh, that you seem to think I am jealous of L&P. It does not impact me one bit if he makes 1€ or thousands. If he makes alot of money good for him. My beef is with the anormal development time, no matter that he is alone (interesting thing that he names himself something that implies more people than just one) and makes high quality renders.
As for art quality, you are sadly mistaken if you think that the pics from e.g. Summer pockets are so much faster to do and of lesser quality. Esp. since some of the VNs I mentioned are older ones like Little Busters, and that is still great. Here are some example pics. Anybody saying these have lesser quality than AWAM is willfully unfair!

I guess my longer answer would be that I have watched gameplay videos of Being a Dik or Milfy City. In fact the Milfy City videos I discovered whilst watching porn actually led me to F95 website, and I retain a soft spot for Caroline!!
Being a Dik was certainly a step up in rendering and writing quality. I did nt love the storyline but it was good. And I did think both Jill and Bella were stunning.
So the point for me is that both Being a Dik and Milfy City have some good scenes and I have enjoyed them for what thy were. Being a Dik in particular was a level above many basic porn games, The point is though that AWAM is not like either Being a Dik or Mifly City, and if that is what YOU want from your porn games, then I am sure that you will find many others closer to those tastes than AWAM.

- Dating My Daughter is less popular than this game in this site, still the dev has the double of patrons than L&P.
- This game is almost four times more popular than Fashion Business here: 22 M views against 6 M views, still DecentMonkey has more patrons and earns more money there.
- The Dev of Acting Lessons and Being a DIK started his first game later than this one and he already finished one and his other one is very advanced. He has like 7 times more patrons.
So, the fact that this dev has been very slow and unproductive has prevented him to earn more patrons and money. We are talking about a very popular game which earnings correspond for games with 1/4 its popularity.

But the story hasn't stagnated in either those games. And there are releases where the game isn't still in the development stage.

People who talk about "milking" have no clue what they're talking about. It seems to me it's just jealousy on their part as (they think) the creator is doing nothing while making lots of money. Even if he is, who cares? If you don't like his output and you're not donating anything on his Patreon then he isn't "milking" you at all. Stop whining already.

This is probably the single most powerful post in the entire 2621 page thread. It is hilarious how some people accept a 10 year deadline as if its a good thing. And before people run to defend L&P...the dude is making well over $100k per year with this project. If the dev cared about delivering the game and satisfying his customer base he would get a coder. He's already dismissed using an artist or writer due to creative differences...and thats fine because this is his story. But the programming is completely busy work and there's no other reason - besides greed - for not hiring help.
Greed, greed, greed ! At least there are dozens of other quality games :]

All of those games use teasing, blackmail, and corruption and all of those games are also porn games. AWAM has better renders than all of those games but after 3 years of development its hardly had much porn at all. The whole project reminds me of the game Cyberpunk 2077...broken promises and missed deadlines because its too massive.
DMD is also a large game but its not too big where goals and updates cant be met...and theres a realistic conclusion/finish line.
AWAM is 3 years in the making and is literally 15% complete...yikes.

Where are you getting 15% from? We're finishing playable day 12 out of 30, so we're more like 40% through. I'm not saying that you need to like the development cycle, but it isn't as bad as 15%.

As New York Herald had stated over 150 years ago about misspelling Old Abe's name "A man knows his name". Believe it or not, I know myself better than anyone else, so your 1st phrase is irrelevant. Yours and others thoughts concerning artificial prolongation of the development process aka milking just don't worth a damn.

The images you provided supposed to be some kind of the counter towards AWAM's renders? Confession: I don't feel inside like a 10-year girl and those pictures, alas, only baffling me. Probably coz anime related media is outside my sphere of interest. You should've shown screenshots from the games in your signatures so we would've both laughed, comparing them with the game of this thread.

Where do I even begin? CDPR from the ground up lied straight to our faces. Due to mismanagement, unrealistic expectations and hopes that consumers would happilly engulf this half-baked product they dared to release it and the rest is history now.
But it's about AWAM. L&P is a jack-of-all-trades, who's standards towards himself are pretty damn high, so it's quite problematic to delegate a portion of responsobilties to a total stranger/strangers, let alone sharing with god knows who the assets. Trust issues but greed? Shut the front door.
Who said that it's a porn game in the first place? Where did you get this notion from? What DMD has to do with AWAM, would you like as well to juxtapose images from the both games? Pls, be my guest.
The 0.115 isn't the same as 11.5%, as at that rate the game won't be done in 25 years from now. It's more like 25% at this point, approximating the further split of the playable day and the fact that the game gets more complex both in quality rendering and coding process, go check the Apollodore's post above.
Why even mentioning his annual income, that number doesn't make you sleep well? Stop counting money in someone's pocket, FFS.
