If that is indeed what this story did, that's some needlessly convoluted stuff right here.

Honestly it comes across as the writer just putting every horror cliché he could think of together and cater to NES nostalgia with the whole sweet home style setting. What we got is imo a convoluted mess of a game. And the biggest benefit i see to it is the full color variants of all the porn scenes in the game. Also, this thing really wanted to make me play Resident Evil, so i guess it had something positive to it

This is a normal thing that happens even if you aren't on the Yuki route or don't have it unlocked. Party members that enter into a special relationship will prioritize the safety of their partners over you (Homura). It has nothing to do with possession of the Jewel Key. None of the key items trigger or change events in the game if any character carries it around except for the Sculpture.

I'm sorry, but that clearly is not true, the jewel key just up and vanished in my case after all.

Thanks for the effort in writing this up in one coherent post, but i think i invested way more time into this game than it deserved, already 23 hours according to the save. So i'm done with it now.

I believe it is always the first character you choose that happens to so just choose a male character first and you should be good.

Yeah the story is a disaster but I'm just here for the porn so the interesting albeit completely ridiculous story is just icing lol.

Have you already gotten the true ending and are you always having Homura stand guard first? Because it sounds like you are on track for the Yuki ending.

Ive already finished yuki route, and that 5th playthrough. I believe the clothes item you get after one of the routes was the trigger for all the extra stuff to occur. Anyway now ive run into another problem, this is my 6th playthrough now and i want to get the harem ending and got mia and rikana to 30+ affection but the box wont open only saying if he had the hairpin it could be opened. Im pretty sure i got all the conditions, ive seen all the girls ending although i only did true end for Yachika. Oh and i gave the other party a weapon and a food item to. Am i still missing something here?

You need the fallen angel key in order to open it, and it's one of the keys that does carry over. The other being the gold key.

In case you don't know how to get it you need all three of the door keys, east, west and main, in a single characters inventory at the same time then finish that run and it'll carry over.

Thats odd, i got the angel key to open up the locker and get the mystery box (5th playthrough). After finishing that playthrough i started 6th which is the one im in currently trying to get harem ending and i havnt seen an angel key anywhere...did i throw it away? surely not...

good thing i roll saves. ill just go back to the save of my 5th playthrough before getting the box and just keep it...or just get a galllery save and see the harem ending that way. I dont think i can stand another playthrough before losing my sanity...

I'd recommend just grabbing a full gallery save. The harem endings are just a series of sex scenes and a shortened version of the normal ending, plus an epilogue.

That said, the Fallen Angel Key does NOT carry over between playthroughs. Only non-progression items (food, weapons, and stuff like Spray Can) stays in the storage box. You get the Doll from an optional event in East Wing route, Clothes from true ending, and the Gold Key is found on the ground at the beginning of the game if you finished the previous playthrough with it. If you acquired the Mystery Box and finished that playthrough, it will show up in the first main hall save room every subsequent playthrough, and it can be opened without the Fallen Angel Key.

Did you get the lead-up scenes in the save rooms before the main hall (party members need 30+ affection with Homura prior to arriving at the main hall)? Did you sleep with each of them instead of standing guard alone (this is speculation, but you probably aren't allowed to let them develop a relationship with each other)? Did you let either of your party members become hopeless? Are you sure you did everything else correctly (you need the non-rapey endings with each of the girls)?

Ah interesting, good to know. I haven't actually gotten either of the harem endings yet as I cherish my sanity.

^Don't remember which download method I used but I encountered this error after trying to teleport away following the fight with the 3rd party member(gone evil). The error crashes the game lol even tho it's text :/.
For those with this error simply copy a "Letter" file in that folder and rename it Letter_437.
Just figure I'd help ppl if they also ran into this.

Is anyone else's game laggy when openin menu, save and stuff but now on when opening chest after the first playthrough? I get script is hanging error now and then. It only happens on save with a 1 star
