There have not been any updates, progress reports, or preview images for the game since it was released on Steam, and that was end of September last year, so if by 3 months you mean almost a year, then yeah.

Sometimes you just have to rip the bandaid off and just say something though. If he accidentally nuked his backups and lost half his work or something then it's embarassing but it's worth letting people know. Or... just stay quiet and let us come up with our own embarrassing reasons why he went radio silent. I mean maybe he wound up in the ER due to a vacuum cleaner accident.

I still believe that the reason for the abandonment is that the story was getting so confusing in the last chapters that he didn't know what to add or how to continue it anymore.
No, my gut (and this is only my thoughts, I have no insider knowledge) tells me he built the story episode by episode without an end in mind. As he thought of something and added it in, it got to the point where it is now to messy and no easy way to get it back on track. I could be way off base, but it just feels like that to me as I playthrough.
I loved the wackiness, and Lucy was my fav too. Was also very interested to see what happened with Helen.
