And that seems to be the implication after this latest chapter, that until recently he was going out with Liam clubbing specifically with the intent to get laid very often (again nothing intrinsically wrong with this), and yet suddenly he goes out of his way to help this girl he essentially doesn't know and we're supposed to believe he actually cares about her and isn't just trying to get out into her pants? It's a little hard to swallow. Like he comes across as a person still in the phase of his life where it's very much about his own pleasure seeking.

I will still play the games future versions likely, I have complaints about most porn games, that doesn't mean I won't play them, it just means I find the genre tends to share way too many flaws and tropes across most games and it gets tiresome. The characters tend to be all so similar that it just gets tiresome. The whole white knight/playboy mix that nearly 90% of the MC's are to varying degrees is so overdone at this point that it is indeed frustrating to see again.

Anyway I'll see how things go, I'm not just mindlessly hating on your game or calling it shit, it's better than the vast majority of the games on the site, but my standards aren't to compare a game to the average porn game, because the average porn game is absolute garbage. I'm going to compare it to what I expect out of a real game, or a book or a movie, and in terms of those the characters and plotline still feel weak to me. Ideally a porn game would have actually realistic, complex characters with realistic relatable issues instead we get the classic naive MC girl, the classic sexually charged and precocious but troubled friend to the MC girl and the somehow both absurdly altruistic and white knighty MC who's also a playboy and a pervert who would even consider peeking at girls at his age (like seriously, I thought he got a bunch of pussy, why is he even considering peeking on a girl on the shower, is he 12?).

My general hope is that one day we can move away from shitty tropes.

I've scrutinized the dialogue and made a tweak that suits those who want the MC to be non-creepy. I'll give this path some extra love and I'm glad that there are those who wants to take it. upd.png

Thank you, but at the same time I don't want you to change whatever your creative vision is just for me, just because I disagree with your creative vision at times doesn't mean that you have to cater to me. It is your game after all. I am simply expressing my personal issues with the game, others will have their own issues often on the opposite end of the spectrum, and many seem happy or even excited by many of the things that annoy me.

I don't mean to sound ungrateful, I am genuinely happy even about small tweaks like that, I just don't want you to start feeling like you have to cater to every complaint people make, that's just as bad as not taking in criticism at all.

Yes, I hear you and don't worry I'm not changing it just for you. I genuinely want the game to be played and enjoyed in different ways. I feel I didn't focus 100% when writing for the MC that doesn't want to "cheat", even though I made sure that all the right options are there for a faithful playthrough, and what you wrote made perfect sense. You get tunnel vision from this work at times.

Your suggestion doesn't interfere with my vision for the game at all. The story is already planned and all the events I have written will happen. For instance, I know that some people really would want to see elements that I never will include regardless of criticism (incest, NTR, MMF etc.). I'm just open to justified criticism and will always reflect on it. If I didn't listen to negative feedback Ep 3 would still be made in 720p, I would have a boring font for the text, textboxes would be on the character's faces and much more. I get that people (devs) can get defensive over their creations, but I'm really doing this for your experience and if I find that your comments improve on the game I will implement them. Simple as that. :)

so many good games coming out lately, I'm used to the barebones extreme when it comes to early versions, but this week I've played like 7 new great games that are at most at version 2

I was pleasantly surprised by this game. Great renders/art and actually had me emotionally involved. I had to actually think about the choices I made and had feelings of guilt from some of those choices. I never expect to become emotionally involved in a character's quest, but this had me hooked. I also loved the music.
