Dive right in - you're not gonna regret it. It is extremely rare as it is that a game will get people as immersed and involved as this is.

It's not going to be "Fixed" or"Ret-conned". It is exactly the way the Good Dr intended, so it will not change.

However, as in the previous update, many players are jumping to silly conclusions as to what the ending really means.

And I didn't mean to imply that the dev would do this. I was merely echoing what I've heard others beg. But I obviously have no prior knowledge or history with this dev. So I have no reason to discredit your assertion that people are overreacting.

Wait till you play through it. There's good reason for why people are upset here, but it's more along the lines of emotional responses from excellent character development and plot twists than disdain for the game. This VN will give you more emotional responses (highs and lows) than a best selling novel. I've seen more people post their first reply here than anywhere else (myself included).

Just restarted playing it and I must say, what PinkCake created is so good a story, I'd absolutely would wanna transfer it into a screenplay for a Mini-Series. It's right up there with Netflix or Amazon Prime TV-Shows regarding storytelling, character developement and cliffhangers, one might just wanna cut out the porn ( luckily, a bit of erotic or nude scenes ain't a problem on cable or streaming ). It's really too bad he left the forum, should the last two episodes keep this quality level I might've asked him for his permission.

I have to tell you guys something insane that has legit freaked me out.
So Dr. Pink Cake has recommended that we play Retrieving the Past which is made by his friend.
So I did that and in that game, the mc is related to the blue haired chick from acting lessons. And she meets up with him and talks about the events of Acting Lessons.
And guess what? She took the name of my MC from Acting Lessons even though this game is totally independent and the MC from Retrieving the Past cannot be renamed.
I am beyond shocked and have no idea how this happened. Any thoughts?

I think the game probably used one save of the /appdata/roaming/RenPy/ActingLessons... to read "your name"

I guess that is possible but I have uninstalled Acting lessons since almost 2 months and I play RenPy games on my phone.
Still, damn good. Whatever it was, superb!!!
