Bruh... I liked Melissa more from the beginning, goddamned forced relationship cause of plot...

Very often there's a super shitty plot but plenty of sex scenes. It's up to everyone to choose what they like..I can absolutely tell this game has a good story, however it's not a great fap game. A good VN, yes, but a bad porn game. I made it to the "choice" and had to call it quits. Between the domestic abuse and cancer my noodle was already a little limp. I wasn't really in the mood for that choice.
I am one of those who has not forgiven DPC for this and I boycott BaDIK. I am a hobby writer myself and totally get why he did this "special" scene, BUT I am pissed at him for the execution of it!To this day quite a few people haven't forgiven the author for what he did there. Not least since the game plays right into some of the tropes of the 'adult' genre up to that point. Hits people completely out of the blue.
Personally love it for the audacity, but I certainly get why many don't.
There are few games here with this solid drama and psychological approach, but Acting Lessons is by no means the only one and they are usually very well received (and deservedly so) and among the top scoring. I wouldn't say they are out of places here so much.Good story, well-written, solid visuals, good presentation. However, it feels out of place on this site, frankly. It's almost not a sexual game at all, and given the emotional intensity of some parts of it, I have no inclination at all to play through any of the other relationship paths.

You cheated on Megan with Ana. That is enough to lose Megan.I'm very confused with the ending of this game. Megan leaves me because I cheated on her... but I didn't? The worst thing I did was kiss Rena, and I turned down everybody else. WTF?
Edit: Oh, I guess I did cheat with Ana for her career, if that's what it was referring to. It didn't sound like it though, as that seems as though it would be a bigger conversation.
I did not get that impression during my time playing the game. And if you decide to cheat on her, even if you feel that it can help her career, it is still cheating. Come on, people! It is common sense.Tbf if you talk to a random beggar in the street in this game then you most likely cheated on Megan too.
That's interesting, you would think that would have been a bigger discussion. She did not even know who Ana was, that she was the casting agent, or why you did it. I don't know the details, but it felt as though the last chapter was very rushed. There was definitely a lot more that could have been done with that story, like a resolution for all of the characters, for instance. You cheated on Megan with Ana. That is enough to lose Megan.
Good point.I was merely joking at the game forcing you to be with Megan so everything else is cheating.
