So I just finished and I have to say i cried a lot, for like freaking 45 minutes, right at the decision . I din't really expect that and I feel like even if I would try and go solo girl or anything else it would still end up as it ended (below - spoiler)

Still thank you for the great time, some animations were weird but the overall experience after 1 playthrough was a really, really strong 7/10

I'm still unsure about the dev's intention with the course of the story.
I assume he wanted to generate emotions.

Well, that worked for me for the first four or five episodes, when I was really intrigued with the characters and their lives.
I empathized with them, cared for them.

After that I felt the dev started generating too much drama without giving the characters and the player enough time to process the events, to catch their breath.
There's just only so much drama a character and a player can take before a story starts to feel implausible and over the top.

That's when the game lost me.

The end of episode 6 and the whole of episode 7 felt forced upon me, thereby killing my immersion.
And somehow I stopped caring for the characters.

I still think the dev created a remarkable game, but it could have been better if the drama was more balanced and the outcome of the story more tied to the player's past decisions.

I totaly agree, for me the last 2 chapter where a total overkill ruining a at first good game.
Unfortunatly the developer knew many people seems to be unhappy with the way the story goes, as you can see in the Q/A (

When i start the game i thought about to become a Patreon, im glad i didn't, cause i dont like to support people who obvisualy seems to give a fuck about what their supporters want :/

Im done with the game and i for sure will never again play one off DrPinkCake's game or even consider to support him.

First . "At least half of the players" Show me the statistics for that please .

Second. Im not defending a bad story. Im defending the most well written ADULT GAME which is not = porn game. Please tell me what u consider as a good story ? where is less text and every second scene is incests ?

As I wrote the game, I became attached to the characters, as well. Knowing what was to come made me feel like shit, cause I could feel the gut punches myself and I knew there would be a massive negative response. But I stuck to the plan, even though I wanted to change the story, I had promised myself to stay on track. I struggle to see how I could have done it differently after Episode 5.

Im OK that he keept his path, but he should have at least given a warning for those who want to play a fun game and dont want a drama like this went to. I would never played that game in that case and wouldn't be that dissapointed about the ending.

1- His supporters seem doesn't match with you.
2- If the complains for 15, well, let say 25/30 members is a lot, DrPink would be very sad... the game not have any success, very few people is playing it.

Moreover you can't compare the development of a game with that of a software, to which you can make changes whenever you want.

I love this game, but after the last update I stopped to watch this thread 'cause the "horde of the haters" have made it unreadable for me and I'm sure that many others who think the same way have done the same thing, so when I read

to say that I find it an exaggeration is a euphemism.

And like I said in my only post on the subject...

I understand that a person may not like something, but leave your comment and that's it.

I don't really understand what sense it has for someone to continue to talk endlessly about something that finds terrible, just to keep saying that it sucks...
