This game...Goddamn.

I was having the time of my life playing this game. Leah was a bit off-putting since a while back. I feel like the house burning down was... out of the blue, sure, but it was very realistic and plausible. I have seen first-hand what obsessed people are capable of. DrPinkCake was right about one thing. This game does hit pretty close to home. I see here that a lot of people didn't like the move to kill off one of the characters, and in my play through, I noticed one thing.

1. So bear with me here. I didn't quite understand why he couldn't just pick them both up and carry them. His Monoxide exposure was far lower than both of those girls combined. He could have been able to make two trips. If the fire was blocking his way out of the front door, we know he got inside the burning house from a first-story window. The first thing that came to mind while i was playing that section was: "Just drop them through the window you came in from and don't let them hit their heads. I mean, think about it. It's not like either of them are obese or anything; not to mention that under those kinds of scenarios, since they're unconscious, their bodies are not going to register much pain from falling out a first story window (it's like 5 feet tops) and as long as they don't hit their head too hard, there would have been no long term damage.

Unconscious people are much better at dealing with impacts since their bones don't need to withstand both the impact and the muscle spasms that result from an impact. Sorry if I got a little too medical here. In short, there were a few ways to save both of the girls from the fire and the extreme sadness of losing one didn't have to happen. Then again, the fire didn't have to happen either, but that's how the author chose to write their story and I enjoyed it regardless.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now, the fact that "Being a DIK" is a prequel to this makes me very sentimental; it makes me think about my own life right now, and how its going to play out. It really captures the forward-only and progression of real life as well as the finality of every choice we make. We get to follow the story of a college kid that has fun adventures through his young adulthood and his experiences into his mid-life years, and all the turmoils and pleasures that come with it. It really made me think, when I am at that age, I am going to reminisce the same way they do. Liam having Cancer and Roy being in a wheelchair... makes me wonder what happened to the other people we met in "Being a DIK", like Jill and Maya, you know?

And as for the main character, the story of him so far is that he came from a low-income family, and got a fortunate shot at college. He meets people along the way and makes typical but special college memories as well as a best friend, Liam, all the while securing an education. He then begins to invest in cryptocurrency and, on a silver lining of fortune, cashes out and becomes financially well-endowed, able to retire at a younger-than-most age. He goes grocery shopping in the wrong place one day, and meets a girl named Megan before the place gets robbed and he ends up in a week-long coma. He and Megan begin to spend time together after that, meeting her best-friend Melissa and a few others. Melissa was a victim of an abusive household that, through the Main Character, finally began to find green pastures in life. Main Character and Megan fall in love after some time and Megan's best friend, Melissa dies in a house fire started by the mentally-unstable and highly obsessed nurse that took care of him while in the coma. Not long before that, Liam is discovered to have a severe case of Hodgkins Lymphoma, a type of cancer that was slowly taking his life, without possibility for cure. After rigorous psychological rehabilitation, as well as Megan, developing her acting career, the two of them get married, with a intimate but immensely enjoyable wedding, and their future from then on is untold, but hopefully happy. And as for Liam... he was not so fortunate.

Just retold the story (badly) for the sake of closure. When you spread it out across both games, it really is a touching story.

Big Thanks to DrPinkCake for the wonderful, emotional experience.

Goddamit, i came here to fap, not to cry...

Hahaha, now jokes aside. I really enjoyed this game. It is the best visual novel i've ever played and it made me cry like a motherfucker. DrPinkCake is a fucking genious, so i'll stay tunned to Being a DIK, as it most probably will be another masterpiece.

best game i've ever played. sad ending...cried a lot.

Is Melissa staying with you, after you fucked all other girls???
if i remember right, in my first play she got pretty mad with MC for this, cause i was not expecting that kind of ending and just got all sex scene when had option, so she left after that Leah scene, and they only talk to each other again when they go with Liam to that place with the tree they did a trip, but is not like they would have a relationship after that, also i think MC ends meeting his ex again when you fuck all girls (or at least her), after that i checked megan ending instead melissa, i don't remember this one exactly, but i think she didn't ended with MC too, and again MC ended with ex, so i just did a rollback and choose rena instead megan/melissa and they had an ending together

Our actions and consequences were great up until that certain point in the game where it didn't matter all that mattered was you got the choice of who lives and who dies that and how he took Leah as being crazy was my only issues with the game.

Wtf... that was a rollercoaster. In terms of fap games, not the greatest. You really know how to kill the mood.

But as a novelization it was great. Your writing is amazing. The ability to get the player to form actual relationships with the characters in both your games shows that.

But damn man. Hurts even more because of that. It would be much nicer to have an ending where everyone was happy.

Feeling kind of worried about my being a dik girls now...
Lol same

Wow... I said Being a DIK was a masterpiece, but this game has surpassed it. My luck is that I started the game already prepared because I had seen a comment saying "Please kill anyone but don't kill my boy Liam". While meeting the characters I really loved Liam as a brother and cared more about him than the girls. I kept the whole game praying not to be Liam. Hahaha. I would love to have a friend like him.

My honest opinion is I think the game should have a warning like the beginning of Being a DIK. This game needs it much more. I can see why someone would be really angry for touching sad subjects and go full depressing close to the end without warning. But to me was a good experience.

Thank you DrPinkCake for this man.

Well, about Liam... you don't see him actually dying as one of the girls do, but if you don't care enough about him it's stated he most probably won't survive his cancer.

Hi all, I've been on this forum for quite a while now but never reacts on it. This masterpiece forced me to do it... First, don't blame me if my english is not that accurate, I'm french o_O I've downloaded this game a week ago and can't stop playing it. Even if now the final twist is well anchored, it's been a long time since i've been moved that way. This is not a fap game for sure, but in my concern this is not what I'm looking for, this a just a great story, something where everybody can feel concerned. The writing regarding the characters is so deep that you can feel them as your own friends... Liam is the perfect Dude, girls has their own personnalities, backgrounds like in our day to day life. Was crying at the end, and still crying playing the game over and over again. DrPinkCake, you're a master. Thanks for this "chef d'oeuvre", I got no other word to describe it. We're here for fun, we're here for adult contents or many other motivations, but I couldn't imagine getting on something so emotionnal. Thanks so much for your art...
