I haven't played this game for many updates. I'm curious, people seem to suggest it's taken a turn (for the worse) away from what it used to be.
In what way has it gone downhill, if I may ask?

It seems like the recall room is now based on what is or isn't unlocked in the global file rather than the individual saves. Here's my global save file for anyone who wants to test this theory out, should have almost everything unlocked in the recall room
